Summary: God is there all the time for us if we will just look.

FEAR NOT

There are four great impelling motives that move man to action: Fear,Hope,Faith.

The love of these four, but the greatest of these is fear. Fear is the first in force, first in fruit. Indeed fear is “the beginning of wisdom”. scripture summarizes the chief cause of sin and crime: “There is no fear of God before their eyes.

We have to learn to stand on all the promises of our God.

(1)Blessings in the journey of life.

Genesis 26:24And the LORD appeared unto him the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father: fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham's sake.

God with us to do what’s needed

His blessings are there to fulfill

Have no fear God is near

His love and Grace will multiply as needed.

(2) He supplies in time of famine

1st Kings 17:12And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

13And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.

We start off with doubt

When God leads we must follow

We must castoff fear

We must stand in faith of the Lord

(3) Protection in peril

2nd Kings 6:13And he said, Go and spy where he is, that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, saying, Behold, he is in Dothan.

14Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about.

15And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?

16And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

17And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

18And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto the LORD, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.

Just go don’t fear

See the hand of the Lord at work

One touch and he can remove fear

Just stop and pray God open mine eyes

(4) Strength in weakness

Isaiah 41:10Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

We may be weak but he is strong

We need to trust him in our weakness

He will hold us up

He will help us at all times

(5) He is our companion in trials

Isaiah 43:1But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

2When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

3For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.

I shall redeem thee

You are mine

I call you by name

I will be with thee no matter what

(6)Overshadowing Care

Matt. 10:30But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

31Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

I know you and your needs

I have the hairs of your head numbered

You are of great value to me above all

Just fear not.

(7) Life beyond the grave

Revelation 1:17And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

18I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

It just gets better

Life after death

Christ is the first and the last

He has the keys to death hell and the grave

He is alive evermore.
