FIVE REASONS FOR GIVING THANKS UNTO GOD

1. WORDS:

Psalms.119:105. Luke: 4:4.

We should thank God for his word which guides us and strengthens us. The Bible says that Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. The word of God is a foundation for our life . When the storms of life blow upon us the word of God is an anchor for our soul. It gives us hope and encouragement and guidance and warning. We must always thank God for His word.

2. WORKS:

Psalms.107:8.

We should thank God for all his work in our lives. We should be grateful to Him for his provision, protection, promotion and all the blessings we have received from him.God is working in our lives. He is shaping us and making us into useful vessels for His glory.

3. WILL:

Ephesians1:5.

We should thank God for his will in our lives. God has chosen us to be his children and to have fellowship with Him. We should be grateful for his will in every area of our lives. God has good plans for our lives. His will is for our highest usefulness and blessing.

4. WONDERS:

Psalms.105:5.

We should thank God for the wonders he has done in our lives and the special miracles we have experienced. We must thank for His timely help in the times of extremity when there was no human solution until God intervened and saved us.We are alive purely by His grace.

5. WAYS:

Psalms.18:32.

We should thank God for the way He led us. We should look back with gratitude for the faithfulness of God.God has led us by His hand through many different and difficult paths. Sometimes we could not understand what was happening . But when we look back we can say with gratitude that God was faithful to us and has led us safely thus far.
