FREE INDEED

Text : John 8 : 36

“If the son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

We try to free ourselves from all manner of things debt, taxes, desires,

health problems . There is only one way to be totally free and that’s in Christ Jesus.

(1) Free from the Law

Rom:7 : 6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Gal:3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

25But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

Rom:6: 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

A. Not law but Grace

B. Not old man but new man in the spirit

C. We cant justify ourselves Christ does it for us

(2)FREE FROM THE CURSE

Gal:3:13

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

A. He died for us.

B. He took the curse of sin in our place

C. We are redeemed from sin because of the cross

(3) FREE FROM SIN

Rom :6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Rom:8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Rom:6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

A. Old man gone dead through the blood of Jesus

B. Christ over came the Devil to destroy sin

C .We now have a growing Grace of Holiness is us.

(4) FREE FROM CONDEMNATION

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Rom:8: 1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

A. We no longer have to pay for our sins

B. We believe on Christ he takes them for us.

C. Walk after the Spirit not the flesh

(5) FREE FROM SATANS POWER

1st John 5: 18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

Rom:8;1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

A. Born again free from sin

B. Nothing can move us out of Gods hand

C. We will not face condemnation because we are in Christ

(6) FREE FROM DEATH

John 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

John 8:51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.

2nd Cor:1: 10 Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;

A. Believe you receive

B. But trust you must

C. From home to Heaven “Pass from death unto life”

(7) FREE FROM HELL

Psalm 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.

Rev:20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Rev; 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
