Summary: It takes time for a: -Vision... Provision...Revival...Blessing...to come through.

GET UP AND LOOK AGAIN!

Text: Habakkuk 2:1-3

“I will stand on my watch and set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am reproved. Then the Lord answered me and said: ‘Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, the he may run who reads it. For the vision is for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come,

It will not tarry.”

It takes time for a:

-Vision…

-Provision…

-Revival…

-Blessing… to come through.

The last thing to change is the material…the stuff we see.

Speed of Sound: at sea level, at a temperature of 70 degree F, under normal atmospheric conditions, travels at 770 MPH.

Speed of Light: 186, 282.397 MP second, 670,616,629.384 MPH.

Speed of Thought is instantaneous.

Speed of the Holy Spirit travels so far that he sees the future.

The Holy Spirit knows the mind of God Romans 8:27

For us to enjoy the manifestation in the natural (or material) We have to trust that it is coming.

After years of famine, in the midst of not only nature famine, but a spiritual famine in the land, with no indicator other than the Holy Spirit, Elijah declared (1 Kings 18:41) “Get up…for there is a sound of abundance of rain!”

Although he was told this explicitly by the Holy Spirit, there was no rain. He had hear it, but had not yet seen it. But by faith he said “Get up, because I hear it!”

Elijah labored in prayer fervently (according to 1 Kings 42) 6 different times for rain…and nothing happened….no rain. And yet by faith he commanded his servant: “Get up, and go look again!…for I have heard the sound of an abundance of rain!”

On that 7th time, Elijah’s servant returned with a different report. (PRAISE GOD!)

He said, “there is something that is different this time…now it’s not rain, but “….there has arisen a little cloud….about the size of a man’s hand.”

To this Elijah exclaims, “Get Up…tell the king to ride like the wind to the city, so that the rain won’t stop him!”

CONCLUSION

Just because we don’t yet see it, Get Up, with all faith, and look again!

Are you expecting the miracle?

Are you expecting the provision?

Are you expecting revival?

Are you expecting the blessing?

Get Up…for I hear the sound of the abundance of rain!

The speed of sound is one step away from breakthrough into the material.
