GOD IS NOT SLACK CONCERNING HIS PROMISES
II PETER 3:8-10
 In today’s world the word or a promise of a man is not regarded or counted very highly of. In not to long of a time ago, a man’s word or promises were all you needed. They would state it and others believed it. Many business deals and other dealings were done with just a handshake. But in today’s world it is a dog eat dog world, it is all about deception. Getting further ahead then the other person. Men state today, I give you my word or I promise, when he has no real intentions on fulfilling his obligation or promise that he has made.
 Then their are those who have every good intention’s on fulfilling their promises. They truly expect and want to repay or show up for what they said they would do. But they get caught in the rat race of today’s world and totally forget what they had said or what they had promised until it was to late. The time in which they were suppose to come and help or repay the debt they owe, but it had already past then bye.
 Both of these instances are a form of slackness. For the definition of the word slack means: not firm, careless,slow,not active, or letting up.
 Today many unbeliever’s say I have heard it preached all my life that GOD is soon coming and that his judgement is soon coming. They are deceived in their thinking, in just because he has not already appeared,that his word is not true. That JESUS is never coming back or his judgement will never come. It is impossible for GOD to lie for he is not man. He is the way, the truth and life.
 In today’s ministries, Preacher are not preaching repentance like in years past. Repentance is hardly ever preached in the matter of the old timer’s preached it. Their is hardly ever a message on repent to escape the firing torments of hell. That is not a message with enticing words or one the crowds want to hear. They want to hear about his coming and all the pleasures of heaven.I also want to know of heaven and it splendor, but we have lost the true salvation message in the church. The message of repentance and confessing JESUS THE LORD AND MASTER OF YOUR LIVES.We all have our opinions on this and that saying He is coming here or their. I beleive in studying his word. But we as ministers, in all our biblical knowledge better return back to the message Jesus preached “ you must be born again” Peter clearly states here, that the prolonging of his coming is do to the fact, he is longsuffering not wishing any to perish but come unto to repentance. We need repentance preached more and more in our churches. But true repentance is being preached less and less everyday.
 Here in our text Peter is proclaiming to us BE YE NOT IGNORANT BRETHEN TO HIS WORD OR TO HIS PROMISES CONCERNING HIS COMING AND JUDGEMENT TO THEM THAT ARE NOT READY.BE YE NOT IGNORANT CONCERNING HIS LONGSUFFERING NOT WISHING FOR ANY MAN TO PERISH BUT TO HAVE LIFE.
 For man bases his whole life on time, mostly on time that he doesn’t even have.But GOD knows no time for he is forever omnipresent.For time is no issue to him. To him there is no time for he eternal. PSALMS 90:4 “FOR A THOUSAND YEARS IN THY SIGHT ARE BUT AS YESTERDAY WHEN IT IS PAST, AND AS A WATCH IN THE NIGHT.” REVELATIONS 1:8 “I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA THE BEGINNING AND THE ENDING SAITH THE LORD WHICH IS AND WHICH WAS, AND WHICH
