He'll Do It Again

Mal 3:6 - For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

James 1:17 - Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Num 23:19 - God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?


Some people believe that God is like a genie in a bottle. All you get is two or three good wises out of him, so you had better pick them wisely. After your wishes are gone he is once again powerless.
Some people treat God like a vending machine. You just keep picking the thing that you want from God and push that button until the machine is empty, and then It’s all over.

Some people treat God like he is able to handle little problems but the big problems we had better handle on our own.

Some people treat God like he is a weak and puny God and not able to do very much at all.

But I want to preach to you today is that he is well able to meet your needs right now!

∑ his arm is not short
∑ his ear is not deaf
∑ he is not slack concerning his promise
∑ his promises are yea and amen
∑ his love is far reaching
∑ his power has not dried up
∑ his word is still true

When you need him he will be there and he can do it again!

He is not a vending machine or a genie in a bottle. He is not a weak and puny God. But he is God almighty. He is God all by himself. He said in his word that “I am God and I change not”.

If he did it for someone else he’ll do it for you. If he did it before hell do it again.


I. The Bible proves this idea that he’ll do it again.

PROVIDING A SUPPLY OF OIL

1 Kings 17:13-16 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.

2 Kings 4:1-7 Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbors, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.
