HEY, JUDE - The Warnings of History to the Ungodly

Some words from a famous song by the Beatles:

Hey Jude, don't make it bad.

Then you can start to make it better.

Hey Jude, don't be afraid.

And anytime you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain,

Don't carry the world upon your shoulders.

For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool

By making his world a little colder.

The movement you need is on your shoulder. (angel vs. devil:)

WRITTEN ABOUT 70 AD IN JERUSALEM

1 [a]Jude, a bond-servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of [b]James, To those who are the called, beloved in God the Father, and kept for Jesus Christ:

2 May mercy and peace and love be multiplied to you.

3 Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the [c]saints. EVANGELISM WORKED – THAT'S WHY WE ARE IN CHURCH TODAY.

4 For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand [d]marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness “lacking legal or moral restraints” (Merriam- Webster) and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. THIS IS HAPPENING IN SOME CHURCHES.

5 Now I desire to remind you, though you know all things once for all, that [e]the Lord, after saving a people out of the land of Egypt, [f]subsequently destroyed those who did not believe. THE LORD ISN’T ALWAYS LOVING – SEE THE OLD TESTAMENT / REVELATION.

6 And angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment (#1) of the great day, HELL?

7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after [g]strange flesh, are exhibited as an [h]example in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire. NOT POLITICALLY CORRECT

8 Yet in the same way these men, also by dreaming, defile the flesh, and reject authority, and revile [i]angelic majesties. I HAVE TO BE CAREFUL RE: AUTHORITY.

9 But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses did not dare pronounce against him a railing judgment, (#2) but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” THE ONLY OTHER REFERENCE TO ARCHANGEL IS

1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

ANGELS ARE IN THE BIBLE 287 TIMES. THE ONLY OTHER NAME I COULD FIND IS GABRIEL (5 VERSES):

Daniel 8:16 And I heard the voice of a man between the banks of Ulai, and he called out and said, “Gabriel, explain the vision to this man.”

Daniel 9:20 Gabriel Brings an Answer While I was still speaking and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my plea before the LORD my God in behalf of the holy mountain of my God,

Daniel 9:21 while I was still speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision previously, came to me in my extreme weariness about the time of the evening offering.

Luke 1:19 The angel answered and said to him, “I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.

Luke 1:26 Jesus’ Birth Foretold Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city in Galilee named Nazareth,

REGARDING ARGUING ABOUT THE BODY OF MOSES: "This isn’t the only time Scripture reveals that the archangel Michael won confrontations with demons. Another passage that gives us an equally intriguing glimpse into the life (and battles) of angels is Daniel 10:13 where the angel Gabriel tells Daniel that he was resisted by a demon called the Prince of Persia until the angel Michael came to help him." CAN BE ABOUT EPHESIANS 6: 12 (KJV)"principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

DON’T PRAY ALONE ABOUT THEM.

10 But these men revile the things which they do not understand; and the things which they know by instinct, like unreasoning animals, by these things they are [j]destroyed.

11 Woe to them! For they have gone the way of Cain (HE KILLED ABEL RE: HIS VEGETABLE OFFERING VS THE BLOOD WHICH WAS ACCEPTED) and for pay [k]they have rushed headlong into the error of Balaam and perished in the rebellion of Korah. (PRINCE IN ISRAEL)
