Summary: The time has vome to hide thyself, go to your prayer closet

HIDE THYSELF By Rev Stanley Baker

Isaiah 26:20-21

Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers,.... These words are to be connected with the preceding verse Isaiah 26:19, and considered as a part of the song; and then, they are to let the people of God know that there would be times of great trouble and distress, that it should be understood by people of God that a spiritual resurrection is going to take place,

Revelation 19:2

For true and righteous are his judgments,

Daniel 12:1

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

We should expect such a time of trouble, and concern ourselves for shelter and security: or else, we would be as the statement in verse 19 (lets read it again)

It is a wicked world;

The Lord's people should not dwell among them, and we should retreat and to the safety in the Lord, where we can be secure during the storm

"My people",

Whom I have loved with an everlasting love,

Chosen to be a special people above all people,

Made a covenant with them in my Son,

He redeemed them by his blood, and called them by my Spirit and grace;

Saying "come", away from the wicked,

Be separate from them, have no fellowship with them;

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her

"Come out of her, my people"

"Come" to me,

Psalms 90:3 Return, ye children of men.

Return to God

Genesis 7:1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

Enter thou into thy chambers;

A storm is coming,

Make haste home,

And get into their houses,

And into the more retired and safer parts of them,

Till it is over;

Or in other words stop what you are doing and run to the safety of your prayer closets, get with God, stay there until the storm passes

We have seen this before when the children of God were in Egypt,

God sent the destroying angel and he passed through the land taking all that were not protected by the blood.

Mat 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

God says to enter into your prayer closet

Stay there

Get alone with God

Pray

Let no one else know but God

Talk to God secretly

in times of great persecution

In times of trouble,

commit yourselves to God in prayer,

Proverbs 18:10 Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility.

When you are brought down by your troubles and Satan is at you back every day stop what you are doing and run to your prayer closet shut the door on satan and pray in humility.

Reach out touch God

Let God protect you until the trouble is over

1 Peter 1:5

Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Isaiah 57:1, The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

and shut thy doors on Satan

hide thyself for a little while, until the storms passes,

Isaiah 34:2 For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.

The time has come for the children of God to make ready

I said that it is time to get ready

There is no more time

It is upon us

there is a stirring

There is a change in the world

Jesus said that it would come

It is here

It is Time

Listen

Look up

Enter into your closet

Get on your knees

Jesus is coming

Jesus is coming

Are you ready
