Summary: EXAMINE YOUR LIFE DAILY WHETHER YOU ARE STILL PLEASING GOD

HOW ARE YOU LIVING?

MAIN TEXT: MICAH 6:8

He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord refine of you but to do justly, and love kindness and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humble with your God?

EPHESIANS 2:10

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Today’s topic is a question that every heavenly minded person should ask himself from time to time. It is important to ask and answer this question sincerely because it will help to direct you toward the right path. How you are living your life now determines where you will be after death, either in heaven with your creator if you lived well or in hell with Satan. If you did not live in righteousness; If you want to meet with the Lord, then you must hunger and thirst for righteousness and live a life that conforms to the Spirit of God.

In our main text, prophet Micah reminded us that God has shown us what is good and as his children created in his image and likeness, God requires us to live in the spirit. In the first scriptural reference of today, God has told us how we should live our lives. He says that we should walk and live habitually in the Holy Spirit so that we can be controlled and guided by Him and the fruit of the Holy Spirit will be made manifest through us. When you live in the spirit, you will not yield yourself to the cravings and desires of human nature without God (the flesh).

Everything you need to live according to the will of God has been handed over to you through His word. All you need is to access this word and run with it. God has a standard and He cannot compromise it.

LIVE FOR CHRIST, DIE FOR CHRIST AND YOU WILL RISE WITH CHRIST

SCRIPTURAL REFERENCES: GALATIANS 5:16-26, PHIL. 2:14-15.
