I don't look like what I have been through

(37)

Sermon shared by Christian Frazier

July 2008
Summary: GOD is like Neosporin and when he heals you, he can do it without scars. There is no evidence of all the things that I have been through.
Denomination: Baptist
Audience: General adults
Sermon:
My GOD is like Neosporin. Have you have put Neosporin on a wound and a week later there is no evidence of a wound or a scar. When the Lord heals you can be healed without scars. There will be no evidence that you were ever wounded. No evidence that you have ever been down and out. That you were ever sick. Ecclesiastes tells us that there is a season and a time for every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. As I was studying this scripture and talking to the Lord. The spirit revealed to me that the most important time is in the meantime. While you are waiting on your blessing, while you are waiting on your miracle. You said for GOD I live and For GOD I die. In the meantime are you going to sell your body to make ends meets. Are you going to rob someone else to pay your light bill. In the meantime are you going to work as a part time drug dealer and go back to your wicked ways. The Lord transcends through time and he sees our past and he knows our future because is the alpha and omega the beginning and the end, the author and finisher of our faith. Sometimes you can spend so much of the present focusing on the past that you totally ignore your future. Sons of strangers are going to build up your walls. Kings will minister to you.
Latter Glory of this has shall be greater than the former. Already Done.

It used to be a time when people gave GOD their everything but now we donít want to give him nothing but our leftovers and GOD has a right to give you a leftover blessing. We want to show up late and leave early we want to be average Christians doing average things GOD has a right to give you an average blessing. I donít know about you but I need the Lord to do exceeding and abundantly above all that I can ask or think.

I thank GOD that I donít look like what I have been through. You see the Glory but you donít know the story. You see me riding around in a Mercedes now but you donít know what I had to go through a Datsun 210, An old beat up Ford Taurus and a Faded Mitsubishi Galant, A ford Aero star in order to get to the Mercy Dees. You see me living in a nice house now but you donít know that I had to go through the projects and I had to live in the basement of a house with no toilet. All we had was a five gallon paint bucket that was the toilet. We didnít have no shower or bathtub we had to take bird baths in the kitchen sink. You see the Glory but you donít know the story.
You can see nice suits and Gator Shoes but you donít know when we couldnít afford sneakers and if we did we got the shoes with the indestructible soles. You may have run into me eating at Red Lobster but you didnít know me when I had to eat eggs, and cereal for breakfast lunch and dinner. You didnít know me when I had to sleep in my car. I wasnít born with a silver spoon it was more like a spork. I thank GOD that I donít look like what I have been through. I have been through the storms and I have been through the rain.

You better be careful about what you pray for. You walking around saying I want a greater anointing and I want the Lord to enlarge my territory. I want to be a Pastor, you donít know all the struggles you are asking for. I have been to hell and back. I have been to the point where I thought I was going to loose my mind. I have cried all night long. I laid awake at night because I couldnít sleep because my problems
