A. The Place Of His Trust In the LORD Ps 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

– Everyone on earth has access to God through Jesus Christ. John 14:6.

B. The Priority Of His Trust put I my trust

We Must Trust in the Lord – There is no other place of security to turn!

John 6:68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

2Tim 1:12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

C. The Power Of His Trust how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?

We Must NOT Run Away – Trust Is Vital -

1. In our Walk.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

2. In our Worship (prayer.)

James 1:5-6 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. [6] But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind

and tossed.

3. In our Warfare.

Ephes. 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Josh 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

4. In our Witness.

Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

2. DAVID'S CONCERN 2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.

(a) The Deeds Of The Wicked For, lo, the wicked bend their bow,

(b) The Determination Of The Wicked they make ready their arrow upon the string

(c) The Deceit Of The Wicked that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.

3. DAVID'S QUESTION 4 Questions 3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

A. What are the Foundations? THOSE PRINCIPLES THAT MAKE ANY PERSON, PLACE, COUNTRY OR INSTITUTION STRONG, SECURE AND STABLE.

B. Who are the Righteous? THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAVE A PROPER RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST AS SAVIOUR .

C. What Foundations are Crumbling Today?

1. The Foundation of Finance, 2. The Foundation of History, 3. The Foundation of The Family, 4. The Foundation of Heritage

5. The Foundation of Integrity, 6. The Foundation of Education

7. The Foundation of Morality, 8. The Foundation of Religion

D. 3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

I. . . SEEK THE PRECEPTS OF GOD. John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. Isa 66:2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Mt 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. II. . . SEEK THE PRESENCE OF GOD. 4 The LORD is in his holy temple, Moses prayed, “If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence” (Exod. 33:15). Where the Lord Sits 4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
