Summary: A man with an evil eye hastens after riches, And does not consider that poverty will come upon him.”

Instant blockbusters are no good!

Exodus 7:1 “And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.”

Just ignore the flakier, crazier sections of people who look for instant blockbusters! Instant coffee may taste good but not success! Are you listening? Proverbs 28:22 says “A man with an evil eye hastens after riches, And does not consider that poverty will come upon him.” I am not against you being ‘blessed’ but there’s a problem when you want it fast, soon and ‘right now.’ Have a vision, plan meticulously, work hard, obey His commandments and with the help of God move forward. I say move!

I am speaking to someone out there! If there has been a failure down the way, so be it, don’t buckle down, dust yourself and move on! Are you hearing me? God has prepared great things for you out there! It may be failure in business, new project, career, marriage, exams….WHATSOEVER, God can do something new in your life! Do you hear me? Today’s message is gonna pump energy and ammunition to blast the enemies that come against you. If your department has rejected you and not allotted you any new assignment and there is possibility of ‘showing the door’ fear not, God has greater door opened for you.

When I walked out of the bank door on the last day of my work to join the Lord’s army, there was none at the door to bid goodbye, there was no farewell party, none to wave hands, no flying kisses either(there were hisses, though), it was lonely ride back home. What would I do the next day? I had two grown up kids! Eerie! God stood with me all these years faithfully!

Now, let me take you to the above scripture which is going to make each one of you break into a jig. There is none like our God! Moses had all the reasons to be discouraged and disheartened: separated from his parents at a tender age and raised in heathen surroundings, ran away from the palace when he came of age, became a murderer because of his passion for his brethren, languished 40 years in the desert working as a shepherd. Most of us have strayed away from God-given vision and we are doing mundane stuff. Move on, God has called you for greater work! When God told Moses to go and speak to Pharaoh, Moses gave many excuses; finally God silenced his doubts with some powerful words, ‘I have made thee a god to Pharaoh!’ Woooow! Who would say such encouraging words? Tell me friends. He empowers Moses with great power and authority. Hear it again. I have made thee a god to Pharaoh! I have made thee a god to Pharaoh! The words of God were like CADBURY DAIRY MILK SILK! Silk - the new launch of chocolate which is smoother, creamier and tastier. Moses was awed by the loveliness! There were no more arguments. Period. Verse 6 says, “And Moses and Aaron did as the LORD commanded them, so did they.” God sure knows how to tackle His kids! CADBURY DAIRY MILK SILK!

God sure has a way of propelling His children to the platform, forefront and center stage! How we love to dance back stage! I thought of happily (comfortably and lazily) settling in Chennai, but God had to stop some funds in Chennai, make me fast and pray and then finally book the tickets and pack me off to Hyderabad. Some storms take you across the other side where God has greater plans for you! Storms are blessing in disguise!

I prophetically tell people today that it is time to move out of our comfortable zone and move to new horizons, new territory in the name of Jesus! It can be a new responsibility or a new endeavor, fear not, venture out to accomplish great things in the name of Jesus. God would bless the work of your hands!
