It’s Midnight

Summary: Life is a lesson. There is no way to know where we are now unless we record what had happened where we are. One of the problems of man is that he fails to learn lessons from history. In life, there are always things to remember.
The Trumpeter is a moment to prepare the saints for the coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ, calling the Church back to the truth and the path of righteousness and warning the unbelieving world about the coming judgement. It is also the period we are looking at the world events and amazing facts of the last days, as already foretold in the Word of God. Some of the revelations you may see here may shock you.
PRAYER: We thank you Lord for this time to share in your word. Sanctify us with your truth for your word is truth. Let there be understanding, knowledge and wisdom for my reader today and for the salvation of souls through Christ our Lord. Amen
“But at midnight there is a cry, Behold, the bridegroom! Come ye forth to meet him”. (Matthew 25:6)
“And of the children of Issachar, men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment”. (1 Chronicles 12:32)
Life is a lesson. There is no way to know where we are now unless we record what had happened where we are. One of the problems of man is that he fails to learn lessons from history. In life, there are always things to remember. The word of God is the light to the right way. It directs on many things. Again, anyone who knows the time is always the commander of his generation. All one needs now is to interpret the handwriting on the wall. It is a time of great shaking before the departure. We are waiting for the uppertaker, not the undertaker.
There was a council in hell. All demons presented to Satan their different strategies to win the whole world over to him. One of the demons said that he will confuse the world with the belief that there is no God. His system was discard by Satan because he believed Himself, there is God. Secondly, the other came up with the idea of no hell, again he was refused because the enemy knows that he has a time and knows his abode or destination after his torment. Finally, one came up that he will go to the world and confuse the inhabitants by telling them, “there is much time” to live, to play, to party and enjoy themselves, to do anything they want. He was the one sent to the world by Satan. So, men do believe today there is still enough time to live and do unnecessary things. This is a great deception and delusion from the pit of hell.
God is in the business of shaking the world today.
“For thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; and I will shake all nations...
God is now shaking the heavens, the earth, the seas, the dry land and nations of the earth. We are observing all of them taking place in our time today because the word of God must surely come to pass. Some of the areas affected are scientific, economic, political, morals and spiritual. Indeed, we are living in the changing and exciting times of human history.
Now, lets reflect on the generation that failed to understand their time and refused the warnings by God and then paid dearly for their ignorance and pride.
It was a global event of April 14th 1912.
It is now over 100 years ago. Some of us were not in existence then, but God is saying again, “learn from this event”. It was a Sunday night, a ship called Titanic sank deep into the Atlantic Ocean. It was built by the experts, The White Star Company to challenge the arrival of the first master, the Olympia, the already built talk of the town ship. The White Star Company boasted after the construction of the Dream ship, “Not even God can sink Titanic”
For us to understand the sinking of this great ship, we are going to look at the culture of the 1912.
1. A TIME OF GREAT OPTIMISM
Everyday, it seemed that something bigger or better was being expected and invented. A time technology is ruled as god.
2. A TIME OF REPLACEMENT
Man thought he has created heavens on earth. Looking at technology as salvation of man “Nothing bad could happen” It was a sweet world.
3. A TIME OF INCREASE IN KNOWLEDGE
One of the industrial achievements to show man’s greatness was the production of this dream ship, the Titanic. The Dream ship was designed as an epitome of Style, Luxury and Safety. One carpenter said, “Titanic was the last word in luxury and craftsmanship”. It was considered to be a floating palace.
