J Plus Security!

Z+ category has a security cover of 38 personnel, which is given by the National Security Guard commandos. They are armed with sophisticated MP5 guns and modern communication gadgets and each member of the team are adept in martial arts and unarmed combat skills; despite all this ‘coverage and shield’, senior Congress leader Mahendra Karma who was supposed to have Z-Plus security, the highest category of protection, was brutally killed by the Maoist in Chhattisgarh recently, where several other leaders were also killed. How vain are high-tech weapons and muscle power! Shall we say, ‘you are our shield O God!’ Come on say that with me! Remember today when we get into the umbrella of His protection, we get into J - Plus Security which is unbreakable! No one dare touch you!

It has been a couple of years since we have started our Abide Public School and Abide Angel Home, that is catering to the poor and under privileged kids and I was just wondering how God had protected our kids who stay with us since early morning to evening all these days. The kids are violent, unruly and naughty and I had to device various ways to keep them under control, initially a few did get hurt when they played but I had to find ways to keep them engaged. The teen boys were a challenge and I got them engaged into work so that it keeps them away from brawls. More than all this, we start the school with solid worship, prayer and reciting Bible scriptures in the morning which runs to more than half hour, this is where we get the protection. J PLUS SECURITY! Are you listening? More than all those electronic buzz and security systems that would goof up, trust His power and separate time to be with Him and His Word.

Everyday we get to hear new stories about car theft, white-collar theft, armed robbery, muggings, shoplifting, insurance fraud, income tax evasion, breaking and entering, embezzlement, employee theft, pyramid get-rich-quick schemes, extortion, blackmail, bribery, and a lot more; we have one ‘hiding place’ from all this – J PLUS SECURITY!

Besides the above, there are own friends and people close to you who fleece you for money with their sob stories; I know many who had taken loans from their Credit cards to help friends and relatives – all these are emotional and impulsive decisions and also devil’s uncanny ways of stealing your money. Beware! May be you ask, ‘Bala, how do I discern right from wrong? I am not going to give you some Herculean task to do, but just do one thing, stay close to Jesus and get yourself enrolled into the J Plus Security category. Read the Word: Psalms 111:10 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.”
