IV. TEXT:

Hebrews 11:7 (Amplified Bible)

11:7 [Prompted] by faith Noah, being forewarned by God concerning events of which as yet there was no visible sign, took heed and diligently and reverently constructed and prepared an ark for the deliverance of his own family. By this [his faith which relied on God] he passed judgment and sentence on the world’s unbelief and became an heir and possessor of righteousness (that relation of being right into which God puts the person who has faith).

V. THESIS:

Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS, because of Your WORD I am kept safe and protected in this life, and because of faith I am able to pass judgement and sentence on this world's unbelief and I became possessor of righteousness by faith in CHRIST.

VIII. MAIN BODY:

Ark or "kibotos" in Greek meaning: a box

A. He was warned by GOD and he was moved with fear

"[Prompted] by faith Noah, being forewarned by God concerning events of which as yet there was no visible sign, took heed and diligently and reverently constructed and prepared an ark for the deliverance of his own family."

Being warned of GOD or "chrematizo" in Greek meaning:

1. to utter an oracle

2. divinely intimate

3. to bear as a title

4. to constitute a firm for business

5. be admonished of GOD, reveal, speak

Being admonished by GOD in this lifetime is the best reward and experience you can get in this life. It can't be bought with money but with the right fear of GOD and faith you will continue to receive this from GOD, and therefore you are protected and always safe. The world will drown in water/flood but you will continue to be dry and comfortable because of GOD's admonishment through His WORDS.

Genesis 6:13 (Amplified Bible)

6:13 God said to Noah, I intend to make an end of all flesh, for through men the land is filled with violence; and behold, I will destroy them and the land.

Because of divine intimacy that Noah has, he was able to "hear" from GOD and receive warnings even before GOD will actually make it happen to the world. On Noah's Hebrew name, we can get a clue and it actually means "rest" in the Hebrew, that's why men/women around Noah are laboring and toiling while Noah is just resting in GOD's Presence. We have a great difference in this world, they are all broken while we have peace and rest in ourselves because of GOD's Presence in our lives.

Proverbs 22:3 (Amplified Bible)

22:3 A prudent man sees the evil and hides himself, but the simple pass on and are punished [with suffering].

Matthew 3:7 (Amplified Bible)

3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for baptism, he said to them, You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee and escape from the wrath and indignation [of God against disobedience] that is coming?

Warnings from GOD are both to the believers and unbelievers but unbelievers chose not to listen to warnings that's why they suffer.

Matthew 24:25 (Amplified Bible)

24:25 See, I have warned you beforehand.

2 Peter 3:6 (Amplified Bible)

3:6 Through which the world that then [existed] was deluged with water and perished.

Genesis 7:11 (Amplified Bible)

7:11 In the year 600 of Noah’s life, in the seventeenth day of the second month, that same day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up and burst forth, and the windows and floodgates of the heavens were opened.

Our faith from GOD and to GOD enabled us to believe GOD in His WORDS and heed His warnings in this life, that's why we are safe from sufferings, and we won't experience them as long as we continuely "flood" our lives with GOD's WORDS.

B. He passed judgement and sentence on the world's unbelief and became righteous
