This message is for those who need to be relocated from where the enemy has pushed them. Every man or woman is in a particular position in the spirit realm at every given time. Every man has a location; your location determines your possession. It is often said that 99 percent of success is based on correct location and the major cause of failure too is as a result of wrong location. Talent alone cannot move a life forward; other things are needed as well. Intelligence alone cannot move your life forward. You can be intelligent but not wise. You can be talented but be an absolute fool.
The problem of Adam was location. After he had eaten the forbidden fruit and God came to see him in the garden, He could not find him in his rightful position. And God began to ask. “Adam, Adam, where are you?” That is, where is your location? So, spiritually, Adam had shifted location despite the fact that he was still in the garden, moving around as usual. So, it is possible for someone to be in a location of wastage.
It is a tragedy for a man to be wasted only because he was wrongly located not because he was supposed to be wasted. Jeremiah 51:1 says, “Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise up against me, a destroying wind.” Sometimes, the wicked dies, and the righteous is also swept away in the flood that was sent against the wicked. There are many innocent citizens whose lives have been snuffed out by what is known as “Stray bullets.” We see innocent people dying accidentally.
About Babylon God warned: He said He was going to send a destroying wind, which would claim two victims. First, it was going to waste Babylon because God was against Babylon. Secondly, it was going to sweep away those that dwell in the midst of them, that is its inhabitants. The people who were living there were not part of its problem but because they were there at that time, they became victims. These innocent inhabitants would be destroyed as a result of the crossfire between God and Babylon. And we are in a period of crossfire operations now. Beloved, I pray that in this season of battles, you will not be found in the wrong camp, in Jesus’ name. It is not sufficient to be righteous, it is also important that you are not among those who are part of the target to be destroyed. It is good for you to be a righteous person in the right place.
Jonathan the son of Saul entered into a covenant with David. He knew that David was the Lord’s anointed and made a covenant with him to be his everlasting friend; yet Jonathan died fighting on the side of Saul whom God had penciled down for destruction. He was a righteous man in covenant with David, but when the sword came for his father, he was found in the midst of them that rose up against God. So he along with them were swept away by the destroying wind, he was not spared. Nowadays, such destructive wind is blowing all over the place. That is why the scriptures in Psalm 91 has become quite relevant. The shadow of the Almighty is the right place to be always. Anyone who is not there, would be hit by any destroying wind that comes.
Anyone who is not in the rightful position will be a victim of the destruction that takes place. When the angel of destruction was going around Egypt to slay all the Egyptian firstborns any Israeli firstborn that went to play with his Egyptian friend in a location that was not marked with the blood of the lamb would be destroyed. Although he was an Israelite, and probably living a good life, he would be wasted in the destroying wind because he would have been in a wrong location no matter how righteous he was.
It is therefore important to locate your position in the house of God and also in the agenda of the Almighty, because when the crossfire begins and you are not correctly located, you may get into trouble.
It is very sad to know that despite the number of churches we have now and the crowd that troupe into them, a lot of people are still lost right inside the church. Some people inside the church can also be likened to a letter properly enveloped, stamped and posted, but which got lost in transit. They can be compared to the Israelites who left Egypt but got lost in the wilderness – they could not reach the Promised Land. Many are known by God and many are known with God but they do not have God. Many are running the business of God without knowing the God they are running His business. There are plenty who come to church but have really never met the Lord – they have not had an encounter with God therefore they are wrongly positioned. Many are married to church activities and programmes, but do not know the God whom they serve. Many have become what we call “almost there” Christians – they are not really there. They believe that they have to be born again, sanctified and also receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost but have failed to live the right life.
The kind of words coming to many today is the kind of words God spoke to Eve in the Garden of Eden: “Woman, what hast thou done?” Meaning that if you know the implication of what you have done, you will be sorrowful. Now everybody is in trouble because of she did. Many come to church and have a form of godliness, but they are like a cake not turned, they are religious and zealous but do not know the power of God. Many are very familiar with church programmes but far from God and His righteousness. An almost there Christian is not a Christian. He or she is not far from the kingdom of God but he or she is not there- it is a dangerous and destructive position to be. Jesus looked at a certain man and said: “Thou art not far from the kingdom of God,” but he never entered there. The fact is that almost there is not there. If you almost received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, you did not get it. Many people are almost where God wants them to be spiritually but are not there. It is a destructive position. You need to take a stand quick. The middle position is a dangerous location to be. A child of God should not go to a location that has been marked for destruction. It is an insult on your salvation if you enter a bus, and sleep off as a result of incantations.
If something was supposed to carry 2000 volts of electric power, and it has only 10 volts, even a small boy will play with it because of low power. Fire has levels. When you strike a matchstick you will get fire, but a small boy can blow it out. Fire from firewood is also a form of fire, but somebody can pour water on it and that will be the end of the fire. The candle fire is fire but any small wind can put it off. Somebody with the candle-fire and the matchstick fire could be boasting that he has the fire of God but that is a low level of fire. At the same time the gas cooker fire is another fire entirely. It cannot be blown out. The fire used by welders is another form of fire. So fire has levels. Luke 3:16 says, “John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptise you with water, but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptise you with the Holy Ghost and with fire.” The passage is talking about two different kinds of baptism: baptism of the Holy Ghost and baptism of fire. Woe befalls any witchcraft power that would touch a man or woman that is baptised with fire. But when there is no fire, they have a field day.
THOSE WHO ARE WRONGLY POSITIONED
1. The Almost there: The first group of people in the house of God who are wrongly located are the “Almost there” people. It is a destructive location to be. The destroying wind can sweep them away at any time. They could board a commuter bus that the enemy has decided to waste it’s occupants, and because they are wrongly positioned, they will be swept away.
2. People in the dark regions: The second group of people in the house of God who are wrongly located are those in the dark regions. It would surprise you to know that among the children of God, there are some who are sitting and abiding in the region of darkness. They know they have familiar spirit but are not making any effort to get delivered. They know they have witchcraft spirit and are not taking any steps to be free. They are in the dark regions, they are lost and anything can happen. They can get into the crossfire of the Almighty.
3. Those who sit at the back: In the house of God, there some people who prefer to sit at the back whether they come early or late. They have chosen a permanent seat at the back. Even when they come early they still want to sit at the back. They do not want to look at anybody straight in the eye and will not come to the front at all. It is a very sad situation to be.
4. Those who sit in the veranda: There are also those who sit in the church veranda. They do not like entering into the auditorium. If you ask them to come inside they will come up with various excuses such as there is no space inside again, it is hot inside or I am alright here. To be a veranda Christian is a big problem.
5. Church nannies: There are also people in the church of God who could be called church nannies. They come to church to play with children. They may not be their children but they will be busy playing with them. While the service is going on, they are playing with their neighbour’s child who has come for service. I pity such people because they come and do not gain anything. It is a destructive location.
6. Perpetual late comers: They wake up when the praise worship has ended. They are careful to keep appointments with their friends or business partners and never get late to their place of work. But to them God’s house is secondary. All perpetual latecomers are serving another god, and not the living God. People like that are in a destructive location.
7. Strange pastors’ associates: They are close to pastors but are not born again. They are close to the truth but the truth is not in them. They carry the bag of the man of God but there is no bag of the Holy Spirit in their lives. They are like closed bottles thrown into the midst of an ocean. Although they are in the midst of the ocean, no water can get inside them. They are in a destructive location. Such people should pray not to become like Gehazi.
8. The troublemakers: We have those who come to the house of God to make trouble, they always create headache for the pastors and those who are supposed to look after their soul.
The Lord is sounding this warning because the wind that is blowing now will blow away anyone who is not correctly located. The message for the end time is not a message of “You are going to be great, you will rise up, I see you at the top etc.” That is not the message for this season. The correct word for this season is the scripture that says: “And now also the axe is laid to the root of the trees, therefore any tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire”(Matthew 3:10). Do not allow God to cut you off. God wants you to bring forth fruit of repentance.
Some people have been coming to church for a long time but you cannot see the mark of God upon their lives. They do not communicate with God, they have no relationship with God. There are some who do not like listening to messages while some are only interested in prayers. Many come but they lack stamina. They cannot really pray for long – it is a wrong location to be. Some are completely undisciplined. They do not want to be controlled. Some sisters complain that something is walking about in their heads. That should be expected when they have all kinds of attachments on their heads.
Sometime ago, a white woman who is a member of MFM Overseas wrote me a letter, asking why black sisters copy white women, and are not happy with what God has given to them. She wondered why some paint their faces so much and attach things to their nails. The reason we warn against the use of jewelry and attachments to different parts of the body is that those things hinder deliverance. And the fact that when some people comply and pray they have testimonies shows that those things can hinder deliverance. Sometimes, you see some sisters going back to those things again, and when you ask them why, they would say they saw a female pastor wearing trousers and all kinds of things on television. The question is: are the names of these people written in the book of life? There are some people who are easily angered; it is a wrong location to be. Anger is a destroyer, it can open door to so many things. Men and women who are sexually loose are in the wrong location.
Psalm 71:3 says: “Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.” It means that if I am inside a vehicle, He has given commandment to that vehicle to save me, if I am passing by a building about to collapse; He has given commandment that I must pass before it collapses. Food poison cannot affect me because He has given commandment that the poison should go somewhere else. If Mr. Pestilence is moving all over town and gets to my house, He would tell him to pass over. This commandment cannot work for somebody who is wrongly located.
In the midst of destructions happening around, for example, petrol pipe vandalization in which a lot of people get roasted by fire, you would be surprised to know that there are Christians amongst them. Also, you could have Christians in vehicles that run into the lagoon. The cause of all these is wrong location.
Once your location is wrong, and the Almighty cannot find you, you will be wasted. If you are not where you are supposed to be, you will be wasted. Anywhere you cannot do the will of God is not the right place for you. If you are not located where God wants you to be spiritually, an arrow can fly against you.
The rate at which people are running after money these days is alarming. Many are becoming experts at looking for money in the wrong location. You must understand that once you have another god besides God, you are wrongly placed and anything can happen to you at any time. People may gather and begin to wonder how it happened but heaven is saying, “Where art thou? because you were not found where heavens put you. Where heavens expected you to go, you were not found in that location. You need to understand where you are.
Beloved, are you wrongly located? Spiritually are you no where to be found? Anyone who is not serious with his spiritual life is writing a letter to the destroying wind. If you know that your ways are not right with God and you do not repent and change quickly, you are writing a letter to the destroying wind. If God is saying, where art thou and cannot locate you, He will declare your position vacant in heaven. Will you allow Him to do that? If you do not have the fire you are supposed to collect, you are wrongly located. If the kind of anointing you are supposed to carry is not upon your life, you are wrongly located. If the kind of prayer God expects you to pray to move His hands is not coming from you, you are wrongly located. If you keep falling into sin and coming out, you are wrongly located.
If Peter did not come to fish the day Jesus met him, he would be wrongly located. Jesus told His disciples to go to the upper room until they were filled with power. He sent them to a location. If anyone of them refused to go to the upper room, when the day of Pentecost came and fire fell, he would miss it. God told Jonah to go to Nineveh and prophesy against it but he boarded a boat for Tarshish, he went to the wrong location and it was not a pleasant experience. Beloved, do not allow the enemy to waste you. Make sure you are in the right location always.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Boat of Jonah carrying me away, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
2. Anointing of bad location upon my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
3. Power to be in the right place at the right time, come upon my life now, in the name of Jesus.
4. My Father, deliver me from wastage, in the name of Jesus.
5. Dark authorities assigned to waste my calling, scatter, in the name of Jesus.
6. Evil location assigned to magnetize me, scatter, in the name of Jesus.
7. My Father, if I am wrongly located, relocate me by fire, in the name of Jesus.
8. Every power writing my name in the book of demotion, die, in the name of Jesus.
9. Hunters of my soul, die, in the name of Jesus.
10. Power of God, baptize me, in the name of Jesus.
