Summary: Society, has raised to many generations, they have let the accuser allow them to think, that God is somehow unapproachable and to busy to be bothered with anything but the 911 emergencies of life. He not only has the time, but wants to help His children!

Emergency 911, "God I Need Your Help Again"

Mal 3:6 MSG

6-7"I am God yes, I Am. I haven't changed. And because I haven't changed, you, the descendants of Jacob, haven't been destroyed.

James 1:17 NKJ

17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

Num 23:19 NKJ

19 God is not a man, that He should lie,

Nor a son of man, that He should repent.

Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

When I was younger, my relationship with God used to be on a 911 basis.

You know like the one phone call a person gets, if they ever get in trouble with the law.

I Knew He knew, where I lived and I knew how to get a hold of Him, in case of an emergency,

But you know, I never tried to bother Him with the small stuff I thought I could handle on my own,

only the stuff I couldn’t work out on my own, because I never wanted to waste the phone call, or use up all His favor and goodness towards me at once.

That right there my friend, was some stinking thinking, and nothing could be farther from the truth.

But you know a lot of people approach God the same way, and thereby have little or no interaction with Him at all in their life.

It’s a generational, condemnational trick of the accuser, like God has blessings in one hand and a big stick in the other

I say generational, because I had to learn it somewhere from someone else and they learned it the same way.

Its that slap your hand, if you try to take more than one cookie out of the cookie jar at a time mentality of lack.

Jesus didn’t die on the cross, so you could have just one cookie, He died on the cross so you could have access to all the cookies in the cookie jar! Praise God!

He doesnt run out of compassion or favor and He has plenty of resources, TBS He has a vast, or endless supply!

And not only an abundant supply, but one with which He wants to share with His children, not hold back from. Amen?

Are you a child of God this morning?

Than you need to get used to the fact, that you have a generous Daddy!

Hebrews 4:16-18 MSG

14-16. Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help.

When you need His help, you don’t have to be afraid to ask, He wants you to ask!

Matt. 7:7-11 MSG.

7-11 “Don’t bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need. This isn’t a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we’re in. If your child asks for bread, do you trick him with sawdust? If he asks for fish, do you scare him with a live snake on his plate? As bad as you are, you wouldn’t think of such a thing. You’re at least decent to your own children. So don’t you think the God who conceived you in love will be even better?

Society, has raised to many generations, they have let the accuser allow them to think,

that God is somehow unapproachable and to busy to be bothered with anything but the 911 emergencies of life.

No matter what your need, no matter how many you may have,

He has proven time and time again, that Hell do it again, He will help you with everyone of them, if you ask Him.

God did it for the widow of Zarapheth in

1st Kings 17:12-16 MSG

Now was she anybody special, the bible doesn’t even record her name, the one thing it does record though, was her faith

12. She said, “I swear, as surely as your God lives, I don’t have so much as a biscuit. I have a handful of flour in a jar and a little oil in a bottle; you found me scratching together just enough firewood to make a last meal for my son and me. After we eat it, we’ll die.”

13-14. Elijah said to her, “Don’t worry about a thing. Go ahead and do what you’ve said. But first make a small biscuit for me and bring it back here. Then go ahead and make a meal from what’s left for you and your son. This is the word of the God of Israel: ‘The jar of flour will not run out and the bottle of oil will not become empty before God sends rain on the land and ends this drought.’”

15-16. And she went right off and did it, did just as Elijah asked.

(right there was her faith, that’s why the word faith is considered a verb, because it requires action)

And it turned out as he said—daily food for her and her family. The jar of meal didn’t run out and the bottle of oil didn’t become empty: God’s promise fulfilled to the letter, exactly as Elijah had delivered it!

God was faithful and true to His word, He always is, you know God is always a God of more than enough,

always willing to help and put you on the right side of every situation, when you put your faith and trust in His ability.

Gods help is never a fluke, or a one time event, it is something He is willing to give time and time again, to whom ever asks for it!

God did it again for the widow of Bethel.

2nd Kings 4:1-6 MSG

4 One day the wife of a man from the guild of prophets called out to Elisha, “Your servant my husband is dead. You well know what a good man he was, devoted to God. And now the man to whom he was in debt is on his way to collect by taking my two children as slaves.”

2 Elisha said, “I wonder how I can be of help. Tell me, what do you have in your house?”

“Nothing,” she said. “Well, I do have a little oil.”

3-4 “Here’s what you do,” said Elisha. “Go up and down the street and borrow jugs and bowls from all your neighbors. And not just a few—all you can get. Then come home and lock the door behind you, you and your sons. Pour oil into each container; when each is full, set it aside.”

5-6 She did what he said. She locked the door behind her and her sons; as they brought the containers to her, she filled them. When all the jugs and bowls were full, she said to one of her sons, “Another jug, please.”

He said, “That’s it. There are no more jugs.”

Then the oil stopped.

And the man of God, told her to go sell the oil, pay the creditors and then live on the rest.

Who determined the woman’s blessing that day?

She did, by the number of containers she gathered,

if she would have had a 100 more, or even a million more,

God would have been able to fill each and everyone and still had the resources to fill an infinite number of them besides.

To often, we tend to look at the circumstances and time constraints and we sell God short of the amount of Help He actually wants to and is ready to give to our need and situation!

Do you remember the story of the Parting of the water, God did it the first time for Moses at the Red Sea.

Ex 14:21 KJV

And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

How about the 2nd time God parted the waters,

Josh 3:15-17 MSG

14-16. And that's what happened. The people left their tents to cross the Jordan, led by the priests carrying the Chest of the Covenant. When the priests got to the Jordan and their feet touched the water at the edge (the Jordan overflows its banks throughout the harvest), the flow of water stopped. It piled up in a heap a long way off at Adam, which is near Zarethan. The river went dry all the way down to the Arabah Sea (the Salt Sea). And the people crossed, facing Jericho.

17. And there they stood; those priests carrying the Chest of the Covenant stood firmly planted on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan while all Israel crossed on dry ground. Finally the whole nation was across the Jordan, and not one wet foot.

God is nothing short of Amazing, but you know what would be really amazing?

If He would do it again, not once, twice, but if He split the waters for a third time,

That would really make me a believer, how bout you?

2 King 2:8 KJV

And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.

There is no limit as to how times God will help His people, He is and always has been and always will be,

an over the top, bust out at the seams, uncontainable blessing, kind of God!!

What He did for one, He did and will do, for another just a short time later.

God did it again just 6 vs. later for Elisha at the river Jordan in

2nd King 2:14 KVJ

14. And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.

And when it comes to the problems we face today, God is still splitting the waters wide open for each and everyone of us,

Who simply come believing and just take Him at His word and are willing to give Him the glory, He so richly deserves! Amen?

Time after time, from the beginning, God has proven over and over that He is a ready, willing and able God!

In my life He has proven Himself many times when I needed an answer to prayer, I received it!

I know we can all say the same of Him, what a Good God we serve!!!

HE ALWAYS COMES THROUGH

When you lean on your own abilities, just like clockwork, failure is sure to happen.

But when you lean on Gods abilities, He will not fail you, His Word declares it! Amen?

Lam.3:22 NKJ

22. Through the LORDs mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.

23. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.

This morning, you maybe facing what seems like a mountain,

but God would have me remind you, that you are not alone in your need.

TBS. He has not forgotten you

Isa.49:15 NKJ

Can a woman forget her nursing child,

And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget,

Yet I will not forget you.

God keeps perfect records of our needs, wants and desires,

He knows the number of hairs on our head, TBS He even knows the number of tears we’ve ever shed and has collected them and saved them.

He never forgets, even when we forget sometimes, He never does!

He loves to help His children and His timing is always impeccable.

It may not seem like it sometimes, but He knows what’s up around the bend,

And He also knows the number of doors that need to be opened and shut all along the way to keep us safe, under the shadow of His wings

Psalms 36:5-9 MSG

5-6. God’s love is meteoric,

his loyalty astronomic,

His purpose titanic,

his verdicts oceanic.

Yet in his largeness

nothing gets lost;

Not a man, not a mouse,

slips through the cracks.

7-9. How exquisite your love, O God!

How eager we are to run under your wings,

To eat our fill at the banquet you spread

as you fill our tankards with Eden spring water.

You’re a fountain of cascading light,

and you open our eyes to light.

As the song goes, you may not know how, you may not know when,

but when it comes to His love that He has for His Children, He’s always more than willing, to do it again!

Ill. Hudson Taylor founder of The China Inland Mission) used to hang in his home a plaque with two Hebrew Words on it:

EBENEZER & JEHOVAH JIREH.

The first word means ‘Hitherto hath the Lord helped us’ and the second, ‘The Lord will see to it or provide.’

One looked back while the other looked forward. One reminded him of God’s faithfulness and the other of God’s assurances.

Whatever need may arise in our life, we can count on the Lord God to be faithful to help us, in our time of need.

If we just call on Him and ask for His help, all we need to do, is have faith and believe and let go and let God do it again!!

Amen lets pray!
