Forgiveness

Selflessness

Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

Many have been told they have no value – Christianity is a place we should value each other.

No one needs to know every good deed you’ve done in the first 3 minutes they miss you.

James 3:14 But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. 15 Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.

Humbleness – to bring below

1 Peter 5:5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

My mind is a target

Romans 12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

2 Corinthians 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Matthew 18:21-28

10,00 talents – 1 Talent = 20 years of a day servants wage times 10,000

Master orderd – He, His wife and his children and all that he had – had to be sold to pay the debt.

He begged – The Master tool pity – Canceled the debt -

Servant went out that owed him 100 silver coins – 1 days wage

Grabbed him – Choked him – begged – HE REFUSED – Had him thrown in prision

32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:

33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?

34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

The mind can't rap around what he owed... WHAT DO W OWE?

HE cancelled it... YET WE!! No matter what they've done... it can't compare to the debt we can't pay.

Unforgiveness will eat you alive.

You can be having a great day and something will happen and you will remember that person that you put in jail.. It will kill you.

35 “This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.”

Matthew 6:14-15

Lords Prayer

Many churches are full of bitter people – full of unforgiveness – Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof...

Epehesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Colossians3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
