Summary: These aren’t hypotheticals. Those are the people Jesus healed, the woman with the issue of blood, the woman at the well, the tax collector, the leper, and the woman caught in the act of adultery.

Jesus Can.

Hebrews 13:8TPT

Do you ever feel like you’ve missed your window of opportunity?

How about the woman with the issue of blood?

What about the woman at the well?

The tax collector?

Maybe the leper?

Maybe you’ve lost count of how many specialists you’ve visited, or how many treatments you’ve taken.

Your last marriage ended in divorce, and you’re not sure if you can love someone, let alone trust someone, again.

Maybe repeated mistakes seem to sabotage whatever integrity you had.

Or a social stigma has ostracized you from your friends and family.

Maybe you feel so sexually broken that you are even sure what healthy sexuality looks like or feels like anymore.

These aren’t hypotheticals. Those are the people Jesus healed, the woman with the issue of blood, the woman at the well, the tax collector, the leper, and the woman caught in the act of adultery.

Hebrews 13:8TPT “Jesus, the Anointed One, is always the same—yesterday, today, and forever.”

Because everything around us is always changing, it is so good to know that our God never changes. God's consistent character, unchanging Word, promises, and purposes should give us great strength and stability.

Hebrews 13:8AMP “Jesus Christ is [eternally changeless, always] the same yesterday and today and forever.”

Let’s begin by considering this statement: Everything changes, nothing stays the same, except for God.

Think about how travel has changed over time:

When George Washington traveled from Virginia to Washington D.C. by horseback, it would take him ten days traveling at a speed of 25 miles per day.

The space shuttle traveled at twenty-five thousand miles per hour- at that speed you could fly from New York City to San Francisco in eight minutes.

With the advances in air travel it is possible to have breakfast in New York, lunch in Dallas, and dinner in Los Angeles -- and have your luggage wind up in Mexico.

I don’t know your circumstances, but I do know that God can create a new pathway or repair an old one.

God proclaims in, Isaiah 43:19ESV Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Testimony- I was called to Brother Holmes’ house by his daughter Jackie Knight. Brother Holmes had been very sick. When I came into the house, Brother Holmes spoke up, “Brother Howard, I want that Holy Ghost!” I walked over, and confidently stated, “Then Brother Holmes you shall have Him!

Our motto, and or statement of faith is, Crane Eater Community Church is a people of Love, Prayer and Grace.”

Nothing has changed, Jesus is love. He’s called us to love.

Nothing has changed, Jesus is prayer.

I have a daily reminder on my phone to read and pray with great devotion, Matthew 6:9-13AMP “Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father, who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.10 ‘Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 11 ‘Give us this day our daily bread. 12 ‘And forgive us our debts, as we have forgiven our debtors [letting go of both the wrong and the resentment]. 13 ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]’

Nothing has changed, Jesus is grace.

Jesus gives grace to anyone.

2 Corinthians 8:9AMP For you are recognizing [more clearly] the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [His astonishing kindness, His generosity, His gracious favor], that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that by His poverty you might become rich (abundantly blessed).

Jesus aims to prove His grace to you! Where do you need to see His grace?

Jesus states in, John 6:44AMP No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him [giving him the desire to come to Me]; and I will raise him up [from the dead] on the last day.

Romans 8:16ESV The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

If you possess the Holy Spirit you have everything you need!

You can’t have the Holy Spirit and be needy. - Woe is me!

The Holy Ghost empowers you to Witness.

Acts 1:8AMP But you will receive power and ability when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be My witnesses [to tell people about Me] both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth.”

The Holy Spirit empowers you to pray for the lost and the sick.

The Holy Ghost empowers you to live holy inside out!

Jesus states in, Matthew 5:48AMP You, therefore, will be perfect [growing into spiritual maturity both in mind and character, actively integrating godly values into your daily life], as your heavenly Father is perfect.

The Holy Ghost believes in miracles! Does that shock you? He loves miracles.

Did you know you are a miracle? Isaiah 8:18AMP “Listen carefully, I and the children whom the Lord has given me are for signs and wonders [that will occur] in Israel from the Lord of hosts, who dwells on Mount Zion.”

Listen to some of Jesus’ last words, Mark 16:15-20TPT And he said to them, “As you go into all the world, preach openly the wonderful news of the gospel to the entire human race! Whoever believes the good news and is baptized will be saved, and whoever does not believe the good news will be condemned. And these miracle signs will accompany those who believe: They will drive out demons in the power of my name. They will speak in tongues. They will be supernaturally protected from snakes and from drinking anything poisonous. And they will lay hands on the sick and heal them.” After saying these things, Jesus was lifted up into heaven and sat down at the place of honor at the right hand of God! And the apostles went out announcing the good news everywhere, as the Lord himself consistently worked with them, validating the message they preached with miracle-signs that accompanied them!

Is there a place in your life for signs following you? Would you make room?

Jesus can!

Will you pray for the sick?

Jesus can!
