Summary: We are entering a climax of the end-time church and we need the anointing that comes with the call which is is given through the unction of the Holy Spirit. There is a price to pay for the anointing and the higher the anointing, the more we will need his divine guidance in our life and ministry.

PREFACE SUMMARY

Beloved reader, this message is about understanding the anointing which comes with the call and infilling of the Holy Spirit in a person's life which enables them to do the works of God and beloved did you notice in our scriptural references which are the foundation for this message that the word states that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth (the other Adam) and Jesus never performed one miracle until He was baptized by John in the Jordan river because beloved, it was only after the Spirit of God (the Holy Ghost) descended upon Him that he began His earthly ministry. (Matthew 3:16)

Saints, you receive the Holy Spirit when you are born again because it is what baptizes you into the family of God but beloved, there is a difference in you having him and him having you and if Jesus needed the Holy Spirit to do the works of God, do you not think that you need him too?

Beloved reader, God's amazing grace offers a way for sinners to be cleansed and forgiven by accepting his free pardon in recognizing his supreme sacrifice in sending his only begotten Son Jesus Christ (the other Adam) to be born of a virgin, to live a sinless life interacting with nature and at the age of thirty three and one half years of age, give his life to pay the payment for sin which is death both spiritually and physically for all mankind then three days later to be raised by God's eternal Spirit from the dead, taking the keys (Authority) of death, hell and the grave away from the devil who then had power over death.

A PICTURE OF GOD'S ANOINTING

Dear reader, I am without words when it comes to expounding on something that means so much to me, I mean beloved that the way God has used dealt with me in the supernatural and used me in creative miracles is beyond any words that can be used or even our three pound human brain can comprehend for I have literally watched the book of acts take place right before my very eyes.

Saints, this subject is so sacred to me that I have turned down missed opportunities to have my own reality TV shows etc. because this is my life and it cost me a living nightmare upon this planet to walk in this kind of anointing because beloved, before God can use you, he must know that he can trust you to not repeat what you have heard in his presence unless given permission by his Spirit.

Church, how can you describe this intimacy with the one who made you and chose you for this purpose including write a record of your complete life and ministry before creation?

Beloved, it would be like a little girl in a bible class drawing a picture of Jesus and a grown up asking her what she is attempting to draw but in her mind, she already knows what she is drawing but like a child with excitement in her voice shouts, "I am drawing a picture of Jesus," to which the grown up would reply, "You cannot do that because nobody has ever seen him and nobody knows what he looks like!"

Beloved, without hesitation, the young girl says, "When I get done with my picture ((our life), everybody is going to know what Jesus looks like," and saints, I like to think of this often seeing the words in my spirit man, "Jesus through the eyes of a Child," then beloved I am reminded of the words of Jesus which can be found in (Matthew 19:14) "But Jesus said, suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

Saints, I have had the Lord put me on the spot in a Baptist church that was filled to the max speaking in my spirit that he wanted to fill some vessels and may I ask you, "what would you do and how would you respond to the prompting of God's Spirit?"

Beloved would you like me be thinking "Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem and am I getting ready to ride some angry deacons out of here," but beloved knowing God like I do, I began to listen to how the Lord was directing me to speak to these people, I mean, we had just had a shouting service and then the Lord desires to spring this on me in a church that does not believe in the infilling of the Spirit.

Beloved church, I began to explain that every born-again child of God has received the indwelling of the Holy Ghost, but this is not to be confused with the infilling or the baptism of the Holy Spirit which is a completely separate experience informing them that there is a difference in them having his indwelling Spirit than having his infilling Spirit which is a separate infilling. (Matthew 3:11-17)

Church, there were thirteen people came forward for prayer including the pastor of that Baptist church and one of them came upon the stage by the pulpit desiring prayer. Beloved, when he approached me, I started seeing parts of his body like in a vision standing out to me especially his ears and as I began to describe what I was seeing, I started trying to remember the scripture found in (Leviticus 14:17) but could not remember the scripture therefore I just reached up and lightly touched his ear with one of my fingers.

Saints, the moment I touched him, the power of God fell in that Baptist church and that man began to dance and speak in a new language as the twelve gathered before the pulpit did the same with the pastor falling in the floor of his church speaking a new language and later saints, he helped me start Withered Hand Ministries, Inc.

Beloved, when the man above forty years old could speak English, he begin to testify that he had been in a car wreck and was injured in the areas of his body that I had described and everyone for miles around knows that he was born without eardrums but God richly blessed him that night with two new eardrums.

THE SPICES OF MINISTRY

(Exodus 30:22-25) (22) "Moreover the LORD spake unto Moses, saying," (23) "Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty shekels," (24) "And of cassia five hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil olive an hin:" (25) "And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil."

Beloved Saints, if we do a study of this chapter, we will discover that all the temple furniture including the items used for worship were to be anointed with special oil that was to be made from a special recipe that God gave Moses and there was a death sentence placed on anyone that would use the oil for any other purpose.

Dear Saints, this special recipe gives us insight to what we need in our lives to work the works of God including a vivid picture of God's refining process on a person set aside for his divine plan and purpose.

1. Liquid Myrrh - This special ingredient used in making this special anointing oil speaks of death because it was used to prepare dead bodies for burial and may I ask you beloved do you now see why you have had to suffer through many trials and temptations that would drive someone with no knowledge of God insane?

Beloved, did you know that this special ingredient had to be crushed to bring forth its sweet aroma and if we are going to be used by God especially in the day we live in with violence waiting and lurking around every corner, beloved the bottom line is that there can be no anointing unless we die to ourselves, our plans, our desires, our fantasies and our way of thinking.

Saints, God has his own way for those specially set aside and chosen for special ministries to suffer through crushing trials and circumstances that seem to appear when we least expect them which are designed to bring us to the end of ourselves therefore if we like Paul who made the statement in (2 Corinthians 1:8-10) stating that they were pressed out of themselves but how many knows that if we are pressed out of ourselves, we are pressed into Christ stating that we realized that we should not trust in our own strength but in God which raiseth the dead.

2. Sweet Cinnamon - This special ingredient used in making the anointing oil has a fragrance that is unlike any other and its main purpose is for flavoring. beloved, cinnamon is used in many of our sweets today but used in this special anointing oil, it gives the oil a sweet smell and today beloved, we desperately need God to use us to touch lost humanity but for us to be effective in our Christian walk, we must have a sweetness about us and did you know that the river Euphrates spoken of in God's word as being the place where angels are bound that could destroy all of humanity, has a Hebrew name meaning sweet tasting, and this beloved reminds me of the fruits of the Holy Spirit which can be found in (Galatians 5:22-25)

3. Calamus - This ingredient used in making the anointing oil gives a beautiful fragrance, however for it to expel its beautiful aroma, it must be beaten and beloved, the more it is beaten, the more it gives a sweet aroma which is unlike no other therefore beloved, the next time trouble comes your way making you wonder if God is your friend, just rest in his promises and know that he is the potter and we are the clay therefore Lord, mold us, bend us and use us for thy kingdom and thy glory.

Saints, God knows what he wants, and he allows things to come our way which are designed to build our character which will prepare us for an increase in our anointing to take us to another level in his Spirit for God is more interested in our character than he is in our abilities.

4. Cassia - This ingredient in the anointing oil can only be found on a high mountain top that is above 800 feet above sea level and this requires some effort for someone to hunt for this special ingredient and it send us a spiritual message that "There are no short cuts with God" and to reach the next level in our walk with God, will only come through a disciplined consecrated prayer life which can only come through prayer and entering in to his holy presence which was demonstrated in the life of Jesus in maintaining a close walk with our father as we press into God.

5. Olive Oil - This ingredient is added after all the other ingredients are mixed together which causes the finished product which is an anointing compound to be called, "Holy Unto The Lord," and beloved saints, if we do a study of the holy scriptures we will discover that the oil symbolizes the blessed Holy Spirit.

Saints, did you know that God will mix the good and the bad things in our life with the oil of his Spirit which will produce a sweet anointing that will form in us that we may be used in mighty ways to not only bring the lost to Christ but to set the captive free by healing the sick and raising the dead which I have witnessed many times in my walk with God.

In closing beloved, I was led of the Lord last week to speak on (Luke 5:4-7) where Peter was being asked of the Lord to lend him his boat and launch out into the deep. Beloved, Peter and his men were expert fishers and had fished all night near the shore but had caught nothing.

Beloved, here is Jesus who to them knew nothing about fishing, was asking them to move out into the deep (unchartered waters) and let their net down again for a catch but beloved, it is daylight now and the fish can see the nets.

Saints, you know how the story goes and it does not matter if the fish can see the nets, God has a way of reaching the unreached and his work done his way shall never lack for resources, and saints, I want to make it a point when I enter Heaven's sunny shores to ask Peter what it was like to watch God especially in the daylight hours fill both boats with fish till they begin to sink which caused all that witnessed this great event to be astonished at the great catch of fish then to hear the Lord say, "Do not be afraid Peter, for henceforth you shall catch men."

FASTING IS REQUIRED

(2 Corinthians 4:7) " But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

Dear reader, did you know that God uses people who have no way of producing life on their own that he may take the weak and confound the wise?

Beloved, we can have courage to face life's many trials when we realize that Christ can use us to accomplish his divine purpose because we are the vessels that hold the treasure that is on the inside of each of us just waiting to be released to a hurting world looking for answers.

Beloved Saints, did you know that the call which comes with the anointing demands a greater commitment along with a greater intimacy realizing that without him, we can do nothing, therefore this call will always leads us to a new way of life in him?

Saints, this new way of life may require us to drop everything and move to another part of the world which beloved is just what happened to me when after retiring from forty-three years driving the big rigs throughout the United States and Canada, the Lord had me to drop everything including new clothes and a new car to move to the Philippines for the beginning of the end-time revival.

Beloved, after moving here with my wife, many doors have been opened for us to minister throughout the Philippines as churches experiencing the revival spirit upon us are working together in harmony realizing we are near the end of the age and we need each other now more than we ever did as we together face the onslaught of a mad devil who knows his time is short.

Saints, after several miracle services, the Lord caused me to be licensed into one of the greatest evangelistic ministries on the earth that was founded by the late A.A. Allen and continued by Apostle Don Stewart until his retirement in 2021 which is a ministry in the Philippines that is known for signs, miracles, and wonders.

Saints of God and fellow peers, did you know that our whole life was a training ground that has prepared us for where we are at today and just think beloved, if we had been placed here a few years ago, we would not have the endurance and maturity needed to fill this position?

MY CONCLUSION

Dear reader, there is a lot more I could cover concerning how God sometimes has to allow circumstances to come into a person's life which are designed to break their will and rebuild their character to be used for his cause and purpose.

Saints, we have just learned from this powerful message that the call which comes with the anointing upon some ones life that is to be greatly used of God, will demand a greater commitment including a new way of life which could require us to drop everything and move to another city or country.

Dear reader, please know that the Christian life demands sacrifice and we can study the life and ministry of the Apostle Paul and know that he had his share of suffering but he is a person chosen by God who not only made it into God’s hall of fame but was used of God to give us most of the New Testament which we have in our hands today.

Beloved, Paul was shipwrecked several times, was no stranger to being incarcerating many times he was beaten with many stripes including beaten with sticks till the bones in his feet were broken but he never lost his love for the gospel.

Dear reader, we can find Paul making the statement in (Romans 8:18) “I reckon the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."

Dear Saints, please remember that no matter how much trouble we have such as heartaches or sorrows, there is a reason and purpose for it and our God is at work behind the scenes.

(Romans 8:28) “And we know that all things work together (good and bad) for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose."

Beloved, we already know that when we attempt to do anything for the kingdom of God, we will meet opposition and victory does not come easy but it should help us to know that he is with us and he said in his word that “his Grace is sufficient for our every need”

Beloved Saints, the bottom line to this message is unless there is a breaking in our lives, the wonderful precious fragrance of Christ would never be seen through us for it can never be enjoyed through our sense of smell but through our brokenness it can be seen as we realize that we are his temple having his treasure in earthen vessels, which makes us a trophy of his amazing grace.

Dear reader, Paul would not allow himself to quit, turn back or give in to the pressure of others but with boldness and confidence stated in (Philippians 3:14) “I press (stretch) toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

Beloved, the lesson for us to learn throughout this message is endurance and face the trials of life understanding that when they blow upon your life, what is on the inside will come out therefore may we understand that “You cannot do what you say you can’t do until you attempt to do what you can.”
