THE SPIRIT OF GOD AND THE SPIRIT OF MAN

Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and

taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only

the baptism of John.”

G. Can purpose in one’s spirit

1)Acts 19:21”After these things were ended, Paul

purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through

Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying,

After I have been there, I must also see Rome.”

H. Jealous spirit

1)Num 5:14”And the spirit of jealousy come upon him,

and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:

IV. HOW TO BE DIRECTED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD

A. Deny the flesh it’s power over your spirit

1)Gal 5:16”This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

B. Renew your spirit to know the will of God

1)Rom 12:1,2”Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. 2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

C. Make it a willing spirit

1)Ex. 35:21”And they came, every one whose heart

stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made

willing, and they brought the LORD’S offering to the

work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all

his service, and for the holy garments.”

we can be able to know how to minister unto the Lord!
