Summary: Taking your faith and putting it into action

Good Morning!

God Bless You For Coming!

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

How many here today are Christians?

How many here believe Jesus died to cover your sins?

How many believe that we will get into Heaven because we get a free coupon in our morning cereal?

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

How DO we get into Heaven?

What’s the KEY?

JESUS CHRIST

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

Satan Steals our Joy, Love, Happiness

and drains us of our spirit.

Satan does this on a daily basis!

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

We Focus On How WE CAN KEEP OUR JOY but what about doing something for our friends and loved ones?

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

We are supposed to be doing GOD’S WORK each day of our life.

Are we WORKING and spreading

THE WORD?

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

Are we TOO secure as Christians?

Too Arrogant?

We need to spread THE WORD

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

Matthew 5:13-16

13 Ye are the salt of the Earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out and to be trodden under foot of men.

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.

15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.

King James Version

Matthew 9:20-22

20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment;

21 For she said within herself, if I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

King James Version

Matthew 17:20

20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief; for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

What is Faith?

His Right Mind

Would Believe In!”

Fill Your Cup With

THE WORD

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

All you have to do is plant a seed

in someone and God will do the rest.

God can make that testimony grow

through Faith and Love.

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

Are you a GOOD person?

Have you told a lie?

Have you stolen something?

Have you wanted something that belonged to somebody else?

AM I GOOD ENOUGH TO GO TO HEAVEN?

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

“You shall have no other gods before ME.”

Do we put God first in our lives?

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

“You shall not make for yourself any idol.”

Do put other things before God?

Do you ‘worship’ a hobby, your job or an object?

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

“You Shall not take the name of God in vain.”

Blasphemer!

These are moral standards of goodness

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

“Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy.”

Today’s a pretty day and we need to get the mowing done? Ouch, I’m guilty of that. Not enough time in the day to get what we need to get done!

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

“Honor your father and your mother.”

Kids, ever not listen to them?

Not do what they say?

Not RESPECT them?

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

“You shall not murder.”

Phew! I think we’re all free of this one, except maybe a mouse or two, or some bugs and maybe a opossum on the road late at night.

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

“You shall not commit adultery.”

God tells that even if we look at another man or woman with lust, then we’ve committed adultery.

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

“You shall not steal.”

What’s stealing?

Pens from the office? An ink cartridge? Money from petty cash?

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

“You shall not lie.”

How are you, Bob?

Oh, I’m fine, and you?

Just great.

I love that dress you’re wearing!

I really value your friendship!

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

“You shall not covet.”

Honey, I’m going to save

up and buy a car just like

our neighbor’s.

I wish I had some mushrooms

just like Mike got from my Dad.

We have all sinned and fall short of the Grace of God

GOD WILL JUDGE US!

We are ALL guilty

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

We are sinners and all fall short of the GRACE of GOD.

Galations 3:13

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree.

Acts 3:19

- 19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

Romans 5:8

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

Let’s do all we can for GOD and get to WORK for HIM?

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

None of us are without sin, but we can Praise God that Jesus lived for about 33 years, taught and died for our sins.

HE is the only reason we can get angry, say things we don’t mean, and continue to “color outside of the lines” and still be able to seek forgiveness for our sins.

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

Jesus gave us all that when HE died on the cross.

HE also gave us, through HIS teachings, what to say to people and how to minister to them.

We just have to PUT OUR FAITH WHERE OUR MOUTH IS!

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

We don’t want any of you to walk out of here today and NOT receive JESUS. That’s what this is about. That’s our job.

I told you last week about the church that had been around for 100 years and didn’t save anyone.

Sinners Prayer

Several prayers in The Bible about seeking repentance, forgiveness and salvation.

Psalm 51: 1-17

1 Have Mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness; according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

Romans 10:9-10

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

2 Corinthians 5:17-21

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

2 Corinthians 5:17-21

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them, and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

20 Now when we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us; we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Confess Your Sins and ask for forgiveness.

Ask Jesus to come into your heart and LIVE!

And you accept Him as your personal LORD and SAVIOR.

Pray to Him and say you don’t want to live another day without HIM.

Ask for the Holy Spirit to come into your heart.

Then, turn away from your sins.

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

Congratulations!

If you believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and that you believe that Jesus is REAL and is your personal savior, then you have just received JESUS into your heart.

Putting Your Faith Where Your Mouth Is

If there are any here who just got saved then you might want to speak to Brother David and we’ll get you baptized…

If any of you rededicated your life to Christ, then GREAT!
