Protection in the prison!

Jeremiah 32:2 “At that time the army of the king of Babylon was besieging Jerusalem, and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the guard that was in the palace of the king of Judah.”

I just feel anointed as I type this message! I want you guys to enjoy it too! You know what, when things don’t work out, when the visa is rejected, when the marriage alliance suddenly fizzles out, when you don’t get that college admission, when the engagement breaks, don’t ever think that’s end of the world! God has got greater and lovelier things planned for you! Give Him a sound clap offering please! He is simply awesome! Look beyond the darkness! Someone said: “When it is dark enough, you can see the stars.” Praise Jesus!

Jeremiah was serving the Lord during the most difficult situation and among very hard-hearted people, now in the above scripture, we see that he has been put in the prison that was in the palace of the king. Now, at a time when the army of Babylon was attacking Jerusalem, God protected Jeremiah by keeping him safe inside the prison that was in the palace of the King of Judah. Imagine! God not only offered protection but also good provision for Jeremiah so that he is taken care of inside the prison close to the premises of the palace. What a caring God we serve! He would never forget your services done for Him, you would be aptly and amply rewarded! Hallelujah!

God said: “…no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent.’ (Psalm 91:10) What a powerful promise! God would watch over you and see to it that none hurt you! . Just watch this scripture closely and find God promising us that “no evil will befall us” if we snuggle close to Him. Anyone listening? “Evil” comes in various forms, it is not only sickness but evil comes in the form of adultery, divorce, misunderstandings, fights, bad habits, rebelliousness and what not; but today we can trust God to just wade them away from our door. Glory to Jesus!

Dear friend, if you have surrendered your life to Christ and you are walking in His ways, then you have nothing to fear – relax, you are in safe Hands. Trust Him to guide you!

I have a personal experience of God’s wonderful protection over my family and children during our initial, hectic, ministerial days. While we were ministering to street and slum children, we held meetings inside our living room. Around fifty children would gather inside in our living room and we would share the gospel with these children with video clippings and puppet shows in order to make it more interesting. My little son would also sit along with them. My family were worried because invariably these children had rashes and various other contagious infections. Miraculously God’s covering Hand protected our children and family and kept us in the pink of health. Praise God!
