Seated in the Heavenlies

(10)

Sermon shared by Jonathan Mcleod

April 2004
Summary: What it means to be in Christ instead of in sin
Denomination: Baptist
Audience: General adults
is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: FOR BECAUSE OF THESE THINGS COMETH THE WRATH OF GOD UPON THE CHILDREN OF DISOBEDIENCE" (Ephesians 5:6).

B. The Christian now enjoys the wealth of God.

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, WHO HATH BLESSED US WITH ALL SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS IN HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST" (Ephesians 1:3).

We are not only saved FROM HELL; we are saved TO HEAVEN.

APPLICATION

Why has God done all of this for you? Because of His "GREAT LOVE" (v. 4).

What should be your response to Godís great love? Paul gives us the answer: "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that YE WALK WORTHY OF THE VOCATION WHEREWITH YE ARE CALLED" (Ephesians 4:1).
