Summary: There are tools that Satan likes to use.

The man who called the wreaker service to come pick-up his pick-up truck, when the wreaker driver got there, he asked him what was wrong with truck, “Nothing,” replied the man. “It was cheaper to call you than to fill up!”

Besieged Samaria-That’s what Satan wants to do to the Christian. He wants to cut off our life source, so that no life flows in, and no life flows out!

If he can get your focus off God and on to your problem or problems, then your not going to be focused on God or talking about God to others, (You are going to be telling others about your problems, instead of what God can do about your problems)!

Satan wants to keep you from other Christians too, because they will remind you what God can do!

If Satan can keep you isolated from other believers, then he can play mind games!

(We imagine the worst possible scenario for our situation!)

Donkey’s Head Was Sold For Eighty Shekels Of Silver-The donkey is a stubborn animal, and they were eating a donkey’s head…(Head Strong, You Are What You Eat)

The worst thing you can do is becoming stubborn in your situation, is not asking God for forgiveness and help!

That is what they had not done!

One-Fourth Of A Kab Of Dove Droppings For Five Shekels Of Silver-Now the dove usually represents the Holy Spirit.

But the dove’s dung is not where the dove is, but it’s where the dove was!

When people are in a Spiritual famine, they begin to focus on where the dove used to be.

Sometimes people’s testimonies are nothing more than a celebration of dove’s dung.

They are living off of the dove’s past presence!

2 Kings 6:26-27-Then, as the king of Israel was passing by on the wall, a woman cried out to him, saying, “Help, my lord, O king!”

And he said, “If the Lord does not help you, where can I find help for you? From the threshing floor or from the winepress?”

He is like many other people, he proclaimed but he is not living it!

They have in their head but not in their heart!

Look at his statement in verse 30-Surely this calamity is from the Lord; why should I wait for the Lord any longer?”

2 Kings 6:28-29-Then the king said to her, “What is troubling you?”

And she answered, “This woman said to me, ‘Give your son, that we may eat him today, and we will eat my son tomorrow.’

So we boiled my son, and ate him. And I said to her on the next day, ‘Give your son, that we may eat him’; but she has hidden her son.”

Another tool Satan likes to use is…Having Christians turn on each other!

Eating each other up with gossip, backbiting, slander!

“I Will Eat You Up And Spit You Out!”

2 Kings 6:30-Then he said, “God do so to me and more also, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat remains on him today!”

One more tool that Satan likes to use is…Blaming other people for our problems!

We sometimes blame others for the mess that we are in but the truth is a lot of times the reason we are in a bad situation is because of bad choices that we made!

1-Has Satan got you separated from God (Prayer Time, Bible Study, Witnessing) and other Christians?

2-Are you stubborn? Do you think you can handle it on your own? Have you asked for forgiveness and help for your situation?

3-Are you living just on the past experiences? It is great to remember, but God is not only the God of the past, but of the present and of the future!

4-Are you living what you are proclaiming?

5-Have you turned against another believer? Gossip, Backbiting, Slander

6-Are blaming others or are you taking a hard look at yourself?
