Summary: This sermon takes an in-depth analysis of the death of JESUS and how it could have been paralleled with moden day forensics and pathology!
“The Autopsy Report From Calvary’s Cross!!!”
There are primarily 5 things sought out in any standard autopsy:
• The identity of the deceased person!
Matthew 1: 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Acts 2: 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Philippians 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
• The extent of any injury they are suffering from or have suffered!
• The cause of their death!
Galatians 1: 4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
Galatians 2: 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Titus 2: 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
• The circumstances that surround how they died!
• Information that has the capacity to prevent the death of another in related circumstances.
