He was given a once in a lifetime commission by God!
A. To bring Judgment upon the enemy of Israel...
B. To Protect the Purity of Israel...
C. They were sinners and defiled...God’s judgment is swift and RIGHT! We don’t always understand the ways of God but know that everything He does especially in judgement is RIGHT!
WE are commissioned to judge in our lives what is:

We are commissioned to maintain purity in our lives!
TO ABSTAIN FROM THINGS THAT DEFILE US IN THE EYES OF GOD!
-TEENAGER that means…
To keep yourself pure from using:
-SUBSTANCES….TOBACCO, DRUGS, ALCOHOL,
-SENSUALITY, DANCING (PROVOCATIVE), COZYING UP WITH A BOY IN THE BACKSEAT BECAUSE HE "LOVES YOU"!!!!!
-SELFISHNESS, PLEASING YOURSELF WHILE NEGLECTING

It’s wrong to kill because God is Life and the giver of life...
it’s wrong to lie because God is Truth...
" " steal because God is Providential...etc.

God has a PROMISE for you that if you’ll CONFESS (to agree with God)
And REPENT (turn away…turn away….turn away….) you will find VICTORY in JESUS!
Question is...What is your Priority? How much do you want to go on with God and experience the power of God?
Saul showed his
III. DISOBEDIENT CHARACTER!
A. He placed his opinion above God’s Purpose…..
Our opinion is not better than God’s purpose!!!!! (Preach it Brother....!)
B. Lied to Samuel (Verse 13)
C. Made Excuses for his shortcoming…..blamed the people (Verse 15)
D. His Religious activity replaced his Obedience to God….

God is not impressed with your singing, or religious activities….
God is IMPRESSED with your obedience!
Because God blesses your work…doesn’t mean you are in absolute obedience…
IV. DISASTROUS CONSEQUENCES!
A. Lost his Kingdom…
B. Lost his friendship with Samuel…
