Summary: Over the centuries there has been many great singers, some said to be the greatest of all time, However, they have not heard the one who is, was and going to be the greatest singer of all time. That one is our Lord and God.

The Greatest Singer of all time!

Zephaniah 3:17(KJV) The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is

mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

Over the centuries there has been many great singers, some said to be the greatest of all time, However, they have not heard the one who is, was and going to be the greatest singer of all time. That one is our Lord and God.

I. In this sermon outline we want to point out some of His wonderful characteristics of our mighty God and Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ, First of all He is in the midst of us.

A. He will never leave us and leave us to face the problems of life alone. Zephaniah 3:15 The Lord hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the Lord, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.

B. Remember what Jesus said in Matt. 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

II. This Singer is Mighty. Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

A. You cannot have more power than all power. Jesus has all power and He gave that power to the Church. Acts 1;8

III. Here is what He will do as He sings over us.

A. He will save.

B. He he will rejoice over thee with joy.

C. He will rest in his love,

IV. He will joy over thee with singing.

A. The joy of our salvation,

When we come to Christ and are Saved and Born Again it is what ever brings joy and gladness in heaven. Luke 15:10

Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

1. We too will rejoice with joy when the singer of the ages sings over us and we hear the song of ‘Well done good and faithful servant.’ Luke 6:23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

2, Joy is the byproduct of obedience.

V. Do all then for His Glory.

J.S. Bach said, "All music should have no other end and aim than the glory of God and the soul's refreshment; where this is not remembered there is no real music but only a devilish hub-bub."

He headed his compositions: "J.J." "Jesus Juva" which means "Jesus help me." He ended them "S.D.G." "Soli Dei gratia" which means "To God alone the praise

."
