Summary: God's promises are the foundation of our faith, and He is a God who keeps His word.

God's promises are the foundation of our faith, and He is a God who keeps His word. When He makes a promise, He intends to bring it to pass, without a shadow of doubt. As believers, we must hold onto this truth and trust that God's promises will manifest in our lives. we'll explore the unwavering nature of God's promises and how we can confidently hold onto them.

The Unwavering Nature of God's Promises

In Numbers 23:19, it is written, "God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?" This verse emphasizes God's integrity and faithfulness to His promises. He is not like humans, who may make promises with no intention of keeping them. God's promises are rock-solid, and He has every intention of bringing them to pass.

The Bible is filled with examples of God's promises and their fulfillment. From Abraham's promise of a son (Genesis 21:1–3) to the promise of the Messiah's birth (Isaiah 9:6–7, Matthew 1:22–23), God has consistently shown Himself to be a promise-keeper.

Holding Onto Faith

So, how can we hold onto God's promises with confidence? Here are a few strategies:

- Trust in God's character (Psalm 36:5): Remember that God is faithful, loving, and true to His word.

- Hold onto hope (Hebrews 6:18–20): Anchor your hope in God's promises, and don't let go.

- Pray and ask (John 16:24): Bring your requests to God, and trust that He will answer.

- Stand on His word (Isaiah 40:8): The Bible is filled with God's promises; stand on them and don't waver.

When God makes a promise, He has every intention of bringing it into manifestation. We must hold onto this truth and trust that God's promises will come to pass in our lives.
