Summary: The worship of our Lord is one of the major themes of the Bible. The following passages teach us much about worshipping God:

Pastor Jack Hayford penned the worship song titled, "Majesty."

Here are words to the first verse of that song...

“Majesty, worship His Majesty, Unto Jesus be all glory, honor and praise.

Majesty, Kingdom Authority, Flow from His throne, unto His own His anthem raise!”

The Bible has much to says about worship of God.

1. The Bible tells us to worship the Lord OBEDIENTLY.

Ps 45:11

2. The Bible tells us to worship the Lord SOLELY.

Ex 20:1-3

3. The Bible tells us to worship God CONGREGATIONALLY.

Ps 95:6

4. The Bible tells us to worship the Lord MUSICALLY.

Isa 12:5

5. The Bible tells us to worship the Lord HUMBLY.

Ps 99:5

6. The Bible tells us to worship the Lord CONSISTENTLY.

Heb 10:24-25

7. The Bible tells us to worship the Lord JOYFULLY.

Ps 100:1

In closing, may I ask, "Are you a Christian?" If you are, then worship the Lord God!

If you are not a Christian, humbly come to Him in repentance of sin. Put your trust in the finished work of Jesus on that cross. On that cross Jesus paid for your sins, was buried and rose from the dead! You can have a living Savior. Will you trust Jesus right now?
