Things I'm Scared Of

THINGS I'M SCARED OF--JOB 7:14-15

Introduction: We pride ourselves on being afraid or scared of nothing. Macho men and women. The wise man

Job said he was scared and even terrified by some things. I do not care how brave or Macho you are, there are some things that better scare you.

I-WE BETTER BE SCARED OF SIN

1-John 5:14 "--lest a WORSE thing come unto thee"

2-the man to whom these words was spoken lay at the

pool for 38 yrs.-he was healed by the Lord-Jesus

later found him in the temple and said those words

to him

3-Proverbs says "sin will hunt the violent man to

overthrow him."

4-John 8:34

5-can tell you of many people whose lives was ruined

and wasted by sin--better be scared of sin

II-WE BETTER BE SCARED OF SELF

1-preacher_____could not control self

2-preacher_____could not control himself

3-evanglist Swaggart could not control self

4-tv stars Jim and Tammy could not control self

5-many in bible could not control self

6-you and I can't either without some divine help

III-WE BETTER BE SCARED OF SHELF

1-being put on shelf nad not used by the Lord

2-I would rather be dead nad not be used by the Lord

3-many preachers want to pastor and preach, but cannot

because of sin and they set on shelf

4-many church members are living wasted lives because

they have been put on shelf

5-saddest person you will ever meet is one whose

testimony has been ruined by loose living--will

carry those scars to the grave

IV-WE BETTER BE SCARED OF SEAT

1-two seat mentioned in Bible and you will appear at

one of them

2-Judgement Seat of Christ--christian workd judged

3-Great White Throne Judgement--lost appear there

4-explain these two judgements

SO, YOU SEE, THERE ARE SOME THINGS WE BETTER STAY AWAY

FROM.WHEN WE SEE THEM COMING, RUN THE OTHER WAY.THERE
