Why Should You Be Filled With The Holy Spirit?

Why should you be filled with the Holy Spirit, should you be filled with the Holy Spirit because someone told you to, or should you be filled with the holy Spirit to be more spiritual, or should you be filled with the Holy Spirit so you can tell others you are. Why should you be filled with the Holy Spirit, (first,second,third), you should be filled with the Holy Spirit because it brings a:

1 Fullness.

Why should you be filled with the Holy Spirit, because it brings a fullness, in acts 1:8, Christ told his disciples, "you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon me;'. The power that Christ refers to is a supernatural power thatt can only come when your filled with the Holy Spirit. Why should you be filled with the holy Spirit, because it brings a fullness, a supernatural power in your life.

2. Fire.

Why should you be filled wit the Holy Spirit, because it brings a fire, a supernatural fire that wil burn in your life t be a witness for Christ, he said in Acts 1:8, and you shall be witnesses to Me.' In Exodus 3, God showed his presence to Moses through the burning bush and I Exodus 9. God showed his divine power to Egypt by fire. Why should you be filled with the Holy

spirit, God wants to show His supernatural presence and power in your life as h did in Acts 2:3 , 'And there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire; and it sat upon each of them." Why should you be filled with the Holy Spirit, it'll bring a fire of God's presence and power in your life.

3. Filling.

Why should you be filled wit the Holy Spirit, because it brings a filling that you can use in prayer, praise, and when your dealing with problems of difficulties, disappointments, and you don't know what to do. Christ want his disciples to be filled with the Holy Spirit for as he said in Acts 1:8, "and you shall be witness to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and in all the earth." He wanted them to be overcomers in this world despite the problems of difficulties, disappointments, and the times they wouldn't know what to do in this life. Why should you be filled with the Holy Spirit, it brings a filling that you can use in your prayer, praise, and the problems your dealing with in life.

Conc: Why should you be filled with the Holy Spirit, it say's in Ep 6:12, "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places." Why wouldn't you be filled with the Holy Spirit, let's all come up front and seeking to be filled today!
