Sin affects five areas of our lives.

B. Because of sin our relationships are imperfect (Adam and Eve)
C. Because of sin our perspective is flawed (1 Cor. 13:12)
D. Because of sin our world is corrupt

Stress the two choices for the hereafter (eternity): heaven or hell. Having the sin of rejecting Christ forgiven affects the hereafter in that it reserves a place for the individual in heaven. Having this sin unforgiven affects the hereafter in that it reserves a place for the individual in hell.
