ECCLESIASTES 3:11

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

PSALM 102:3-13

For my days vanish like smoke; my bones burn like glowing embers.

My heart is blighted and withered like grass; I forget to eat my food.

Because of my loud groaning I am reduced to skin and bones.

I am like a desert owl, like an owl among the ruins.

I lie awake; I have become like a bird alone on a roof.

All day long my enemies taunt me; those who rail against me use my name as a curse.

For I eat ashes as my food and mingle my drink with tears

because of your great wrath, for you have taken me up and thrown me aside.

My days are like the evening shadow; I wither away like grass.

But you, O LORD, sit enthroned forever; your renown endures through all generations.

You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come.

EZEKIEL 12:28

"Therefore say to them, ’This is what the Sovereign LORD says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign LORD.’ "

PSALM 126:1-6

When the LORD brought back the captives to Zion, we were like men who dreamed.

Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, "The LORD has done great things for them."

The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.

Restore our fortunes, O LORD, like streams in the Negev.

Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy.

He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him.

2. THE LORD WILL SURELY FULFILL HIS PROMISES.HE IS NOT A MAN TO LIE OR CHANGE HIS MIND.

The Lord will surely fulfill His promises. He is not a man to lie or change His mind. Once God has blessed us ,no one can reverse it. We need not fear the curses that men may pronounce on us . Their curses are powerless over us when the blessing of God rests on us. No sorcery or witchcraft can prevail over us when we are living under the covering of the blood of Jesus. We must be strong in our faith which is a shield to quench the fiery darts of the enemy. All the promises of God are given with certainity and we need not entertain any doubts about them. The Lord will fulfill with His hands all that He said with His mouth.

NUMBERS 23:19-23

God is not a man, that he should lie,nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

I have received a command to bless; he has blessed, and I cannot change it.

"No misfortune is seen in Jacob,no misery observed in Israel. The LORD their God is with them; the shout of the King is among them.

God brought them out of Egypt; they have the strength of a wild ox.

There is no sorcery against Jacob, no divination against Israel. It will now be said of Jacob and of Israel, ’See what God has done!’

REVELATION 12:11

They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.

EPHESIANS 6:16

In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

2 CORINTHIANS 1:20

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God.

Then he said: "Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, who with his hands has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth to my father David. For he said,

JOSHUA 21:45

Not one of all the LORD’s good promises to the house of Israel failed; every one was fulfilled.

LUKE 1:68-75

"Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come and has redeemed his people.

He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David

(as he said through his holy prophets of long ago),

salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us—

to show mercy to our fathers and to remember his holy covenant,

the oath he swore to our father Abraham:

to rescue us from the hand of our enemies, and to enable us to serve him without fear

in holiness and righteousness before him all our days.

3. THE LORD WILL FULFILL HIS PLAN WITH GREAT DETERMINATION.

The Lord will fulfill His plans and purposes with great determination. His word cannot come back to Him empty without accomplishing the purpose for which He sent it. The Lord will not allow anyone to thwart His plan and purpose . We must pray fervently for the divine plan of God to be fulfilled on the earth. The Lord will answer our prayers and destroy all the plans of the enemy and enforce His plan in our lives.

ISAIAH 55:8-11

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD.

"As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,

so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

ISAIAH 14:24 ,27

The LORD Almighty has sworn, "Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand.

PROVERBS 21:30-31

There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the LORD.

The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the LORD.

4. THE BATTLE IS NOT OURS BUT THE LORD’S AND HE WILL FIGHT FOR US.

The Lord wants us to realise that the battle belongs to Him . The devil has been in rebellion against God even before the creation of man. When we commit our lives to the Lord and become His children, satan directs his anger towards us and attacks us. The Lord considers this work of satan against as an attack against God Himself. He therefore fights the battle on our behalf and grants us the victory.

2 CHRONICLES 20:14-24

Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jahaziel son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite and descendant of Asaph, as he stood in the assembly.

He said: "Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: ’Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.

Tomorrow march down against them. They will be climbing up by the Pass of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the gorge in the Desert of Jeruel.

You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.’ "

Jehoshaphat bowed with his face to the ground, and all the people of Judah and Jerusalem fell down in worship before the LORD.

Then some Levites from the Kohathites and Korahites stood up and praised the LORD, the God of Israel, with very loud voice.

Early in the morning they left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, "Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the LORD your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful."

After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the LORD and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: "Give thanks to the LORD, for his love endures forever."

As they began to sing and praise, the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.

The men of Ammon and Moab rose up against the men from Mount Seir to destroy and annihilate them. After they finished slaughtering the men from Seir, they helped to destroy one another.

When the men of Judah came to the place that overlooks the desert and looked toward the vast army, they saw only dead bodies lying on the ground; no one had escaped.

EXODUS 14:13-14

Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.

The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still."

5. NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US WILL PROSPER. THE LORD WILL THWART ALL THE PLANS OF THE ENEMY.

The Lord promises us that no weapon formed against us will prosper. The Lord will not allow any enemy to prevail over us. The Lord is with us like a mighty warrior and He will cause the enemy to flee before us. The Lord will thwart all the plans and wily schemes of the enemy and bring shame and disgrace upon them.

"But if it were I, I would appeal to God; I would lay my cause before him.

He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.

He bestows rain on the earth; he sends water upon the countryside.

The lowly he sets on high, and those who mourn are lifted to safety.

He thwarts the plans of the crafty, so that their hands achieve no success.

He catches the wise in their craftiness, and the schemes of the wily are swept away.

Darkness comes upon them in the daytime; at noon they grope as in the night.

He saves the needy from the sword in their mouth; he saves them from the clutches of the powerful.

So the poor have hope, and injustice shuts its mouth.

Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all.

For I am the LORD, your God,who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

6. THE LORD WILL SURELY ANSWER THE PRAYERS OF HIS PEOPLE WHO CRY DAY AND NIGHT TO HIM.

The Lord will surely answer the prayers of His people who cry day and night to him. He will not despise our suffering nor will He hide His face from us. He will listen to our cry for help. The Lord will respond to the cry of the poor and needy and arise to their defence and deliverance .

When we seek the Lord , He will deliver us from all our fears . when we look to Him we will become radiant and will not be put to shame. The Lord will hear our cry and save us from all our troubles.
