14,600 DAYS OF THE SAME OLD SAME OLD? THEN GOD?
SET YOUR MIND ON A MIRACLE!

I. THERE IS A BATTLE OF THE INTERNAL ATTITUDE OR MIND SET THAT WE ALLOW TO DICTATE TO OUR SPIRIT MAN!
A. Are we buzzards? or turkeys? or eagles.
Buzzards have fleas and ticks and bad breath.
Turkeys are satisfied to be Thanksgiving dinner?
But the eagle has a different call!
B. ALL MY PROBLEMS SEEM SO BIG? MY PROBLEMS ARE GIANTS, MY VICTORIES LIMITED?
SEEMS THE MAJORITY WILL LOVE THE NEGATIVE PREDICTION?
C. 10 spies, verses 2 spies?
You can not name but two spies? Which two? The positive two: JOSHUA AND CALEB.
Negative attitudes give birth to NEGATIVE WORDS AND A LOT OF CRYING?
Numbers 11:1 And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord: and the Lord heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the Lord burnt
among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.
D. NEGATIVE MESSAGES WILL FALL ON NEGATIVE EARS.
The enemy? Just as we expected? We expected trouble?
Numbers 13:31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.
E. You become what you project!
We are inferior? By saying we are inferior, we are saying our God is inferior.
Numbers 13:33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in
their sight.
F. WE DEFINE HOW LONG WE SHALL BE IN THE DESERT?
THERE IS A TERRIBLE TRAP OF NEGATIVE EMOTIONS CAUSING DOUBT OF GOD TO RULE THE HEART AND LOSE THE PROMISE?
Numbers 14:34 After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty
years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.
G. YOU CAN NEVER OVER COME NEGATIVE MOUTHS AND NEGATIVE SPIRITS.
THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO DEFEAT THE NEGATIVE, OVERWHELM IT.
H. The people that say it can’t be done are being passed by them that are doing it!
II. ARE YOU A BUZZARD, A TURKEY, OR AN EAGLE?
Buzzards have fleas and ticks and bad breath.
Turkeys are satisfied to be Thanksgiving dinner?
But the eagle has a different call!
A. It is hard to fly like an eagle when you are grounded with turkeys?
B. I TOLD YOU: HE WAS A CHICKEN!
Years ago there was a farmer and his wife. They raised all kinds of farm animals. The farmer had about 150 chickens, and they would sell eggs to their neighbors. One day the farmer’s wife was walking to the chicken coup.
She noticed the largest chicken egg see had ever seen just out side of the coup. So she picked it up and placed the large egg under one of the sitting
hens. All of the chicken eggs hatched out but one.
That huge chicken egg was still under the old hen.
Days went by, all the biddies were running around the coup. The rooster was so proud of his new chicks.
Finally one day that big egg hatched out.
It was the ugliest chicken the farmer’s wife ever saw.
One day the farmer’s wife pointed out the big ugly chicken to the farmer.
They agreed that was the ugliest, strangest acting chicken they ever saw.
That big chicken scratched around and ran and played with the other chickens. When people came to buy eggs the farmer’s wife would tell them to look at that big ugly chicken.
One day a neighbor told the game warden, that farmer over there has this big ugly chicken, you must go see it.
The ranger pulled his jeep on to the farm and was amazed, that big ugly chicken was an eagle.
The ranger called the farmer over and said: How did you get that eagle?
The farmer said: AIN’T NO EAGLE, IT IS A BIG UGLY CHICKEN.
The ranger said: No, sir that is an eagle.
The farmer said, AIN’T NO EAGLE, WATCH HIM. He acts like a chicken, he scratches like a chicken, he is a chicken!
The ranger said: I will prove to you it is an eagle.
So the ranger grabbed the big ugly chicken and climbed to the hay loft in the barn. The ranger threw the big ugly chicken out of the barn.
The big ugly chicken flapped it wings until it landed with the other chickens and started scratching in the dirt.
The farmer said: SEE, I TOLD YOU IT WAS A CHICKEN!
The ranger asked what would the farmer sell him that eagle for?
The farmer replied, I will sell you that big ugly chicken for $3.00, that’s what I get for a chicken.
The ranger paid the farmer $3.00 and said, I WILL COME AND GET THAT EAGLE TOMORROW.
The farmer said: It is your chicken, get it when you want to!
The next day the ranger came with a big cage in the back of his jeep.
He chased the big chicken until he caught it.
He placed the chicken in the cage and away they went.
The ranger drove and drove, they climbed a high mountain and came to the edge of the cliff.
The ranger carried the big ugly chicken over to the cliff and opened the cage.
He grabbed the chicken and said: Now, we will see if you are a chicken or an eagle.
The ranger threw the chicken over the huge cliff and yelled FLY EAGLE FLY!
The ugly chicken fell 25 feet, just flapped it’s wings?
It fell 50 feet? 75 feet? The ranger thought: IS THIS REALLY A BIG CHICKEN?
About that time the wind started blowing, the eagle spread it’s wings and started circling around and around? The eagle started riding the wind,
SOARING HIGHER AND HIGHER.
The ranger was so happy, It was not a big ugly chicken, it was a eagle.
The last time the ranger saw the eagle it was a little speck in the distance.
C. I am not telling you a story about chickens and eagles!
I am not talking about GRASSHOPPER SPIRITS!
I am not discussing the power of negative crowd crying in their tents.
I AM TELLING YOU GOD HAS A PLAN MUCH BIG THAN THE CHICKEN COUP!
III. 14,600 DAYS AND THEY ALL SEEM THE SAME? NO CHANGE?
CAN YOU BREAK LOOSE FROM THE BUZZARD AND TURKEY MENTALITY?
WILL WE STAY HERE? CAN’T WE HEAR THE CALL OF THE SPIRIT THERE IS MORE THAN THIS?
A. Moses really thought he was something for the first 40 years of his life.
HE LIVED IN A COMFORTABLE PALACE, and he had anything he wanted.
He had the best education, the best Mustang Cobra?
B. Then God had to move Moses to where Moses did not want to go? The back side of the dessert. Long hot days? Cold nights?
What is going on?
C. In my opinion many days Moses went to the screen door of his tent and looked out across the dessert and said in his heart---
IS THIS IT GOD?
IS THIS ALL THERE IS?
Moses would tie up his sandals, take his bag lunch and walk seemingly aimlessly?
He would ask his wife: WIFEY DEAR, ISN’T THERE MORE
THAN THIS?
D. One day Moses ate his breakfast, grabbed his staff and away he went.
This day would be different than all the other 40 x 365 = 14,600.
E. MOSES COMES INTO THE HOLY PRESENCE OF GOD, THE PLAN COMES TOGETHER!
Exodus 3:2 And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire,
and the bush was not consumed.
F. WHY CAN WE NOT RECOGNIZE HOLY GROUND AND GOD’S PRESENCE?
Exodus 3:5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
G. GOD CALLS MOSES TO USE WHAT HE HAD, AND TRUST HIM COMPLETELY.
Exodus 4:2 And the Lord said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.
H. WILL WE TRUST GOD? CAN WE SEE EVERY COMMON BUSH IS A FLAME WITH GOD’S PRESENCE. TRUST GOD MY LITTLE EAGLE! RIDE THE WIND!
IV. THERE ARE 12 TRIBES OF ISRAEL. EACH TRIBE HAD A BANNER TO FLY OVER THEM. THE BANNER OVER DAN WAS ASSIGNED BY JACOB IN GENESIS 49.
A. JUDAH WAS THE TRIBE OF PRAISE.
JUDAH TRAVELED FIRST BEFORE THE WARRIORS.
B. ISSACHAR WAS STRONG LIKE A MULE.
C. JOSEPH WAS FRUITFUL.
D. BUT LOOK AT DAN... THE FIFTH SON OF JACOB.
Dan’s mother was Bilhah, Rachel’s maid.
The blessing his Father gave him was Dan will judge his people.
Genesis 49:16 Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.
17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse
heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.
18 I have waited for thy salvation, O Lord.
E. As the tribe of Dan traveled marching through the wilderness they were on the north side of the tabernacle.
F. The tribe of Dan was the last tribe to receive their portion in the Promise Land.
Their portion was small but very fertile!
G. Dan needed more land, they sought God and took 600 warriors and claimed more
land.
H. SEEMS HISTORY HAD TRAPPED DAN INTO A DOOMED LOT?
They seemed forever trapped as battlers and fighters. Fighters tend to tire in the midst of hot battles.
DODGING THE FEET?
COLD BLOODED?
I. ADDER:
A SNAKE WITH POOR EYESIGHT, limited vision.
One that lies in wait. One in a low place.
A venomous snake, asp, viper and cobra family.
J. SNAKE:
hissing.
To find a hiding place and only come out when under attack.
K. Biting at the horses heels?
Bruised heads?
V. STANDARDS, BANNERS --- OR FLAGS HELPED IDENTIFY EACH OF THE 12 TRIBES
OF ISRAEL!
Numbers 1:52 And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.
A. The standard was a powerful force to God’s children.
The banner was embroidered, beautiful and could be identified at a distance away.
B. Each family had a banner, but the whole tribe had a huge standard that was lifted
on top of the mountains in stationary positions.
C. When a standard was raised high it was a battle signal and all the other
tribes would sound the war trumpets to prepare for battle.
D. THE BANNER BECAME A NEW SIGNIFICANT ELEMENT FOR GOD’S PEOPLE.
Song of Sol. 2:4 He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.
E. THE BANNER BECAME A SYMBOL OF GOD’S PRESENCE AND HIS
HOLY PROTECTION THAT GOD WOULD AID AND EXTEND HIS BANNER OVER HIS PEOPLE.
VI. DID JACOB MEAN TO FOREVER DOOM HIS SEED? WAS THE TRIBE OF DAN DOOMED TO BE ADDERS AND SNAKES FOREVER? GOD RAISED UP A NEW HEART IN THE TRIBE OF DAN. BUT OLD ATTITUDES AND HABITS ARE HARD TO BREAK. CAN WE ACCEPT A NEW STANDARD?
A. There was a man that developed better and better.
His name was AMMISHADDAI...
YOU KNOW SHADDAI... OMNIPOTENT --- God almighty!
Numbers 2:25 The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the north side by their armies: and the captain of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of
Ammishaddai.
B. AMMISHADDAI HAD A SON, AHIEZER THAT WAS A GOOD MAN AND SURRENDERED TOTALLY TO THE LORD. IT IS TIME TO CHANGE!
C. Now, Ahiezer knew it was time for the DANITES, the tribe of Dan to step up.
D. AHIEZER CHANGED DAN’S BANNER OVER THEM TO THE EAGLE, NOT THE ADDER.
God had called Dan to get off the ground and fly.
They are no longer walking out of Egypt, they are SOARING INTO THE PROMISE!
E. Ahiezer wanted the emblem to be POSITIVE, not negative.
MANY OF THE PEOPLE RESISTED THE CHANGE. They liked the negative.
Jacob our forefather said this. Ahiezer thought that it was time to ARISE TO A NEW POTENTIAL.
F. We don’t have to hide in hole. We are MADE OVERCOMERS.
His standard over us is LOVE and Victory.
G. DO YOU HAVE THE ADDER MENTALITY?
Would you rather crawl in the dust than fly above the storm?
Run and hide, our head will be bruised?
H. You know what an eagle does when a major storm is coming?
It soars and rides the wind until it rises above the storm.
The eagle will not return until after the storm passes by.
I. CAN SPIRITUAL LIFE FOR A DENOMINATION IMPROVE?
Can an individual or a group improve their lot? Are we trapped here?
J. The mind set and attitude of the tribe of Dan never changed when their banner changed. They stayed liken unto an adder?
Other people saw them as adders? They had always been known as adders?
I guess we are just an adder?
K. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE PLAN JESUS HAS FOR YOU?
DOES YOUR HEART SCREAM: THERE IS MORE THAN THIS?
VII. YOU DEFINE YOUR POTENTIAL? WILL YOU GIVE PERMISSION TO GOD? WILL YOU INVEST GREATER EFFORT? CLAIM MORE! DO YOU WANT TO BE A MIDGET? OR A GIANT KILLER?
A. LET:
To permit or give permission
To cause, to make, to allow
To give bids
To give opportunity.
To free from confinement.

TRY AGAIN! IT IS ALWAYS TOO SOON TO QUIT!
