Summary: God’s plan for you is ALL good! You can arise now and say, "I am God’s best". Dr. Hughes challenges you to take a leap of faith and believe that God made you His best.

I sense a destiny in your life because you are valuable to God. God wants you to prosper and have success in your life. He has a plan that only you can accomplish and fulfill.

You are created with God’s best material! You were born for GREATNESS! You were created for health, not sickness; success, not failure; abundance and happiness, not for poverty and disappointment.

God looked out across eternity and He saw you. He said, “This is good.” I don’t care if you are overweight; your hair is getting gray; your skin is not so smooth; you done things that no one knows about but you – it’s your secret cry of the night. But tonight, I pray that from now on when you walk in a room they say, “Who is that?” They should see a confidence in you knowing that you are God’s best.

Let’s look at a woman who was created for God’s best but something went wrong in her life. In looking at her life, we ask – if God loves her so much, then why did this happen? Let’s be honest, did you ever ask God WHY?

2 Samuel 13:1-20

Tamar. The beautiful daughter of God – God’s best. Oh what a great future she had. She had the dream of the wedding. A big cake. The handsome man. The bridesmaid. She wanted to present herself pure to her husband. But now this. She went to help her own brother Amnon but he took advantage of her. While she stirred the soup and prepared to help him with his cold, he brutally abused and assaulted her. Her femininity had been crushed, torn apart like a beautiful ROSE. Her father had great dreams for her – she was the fairest of ten thousand woman. She had been violated. But she trusted him – oh God WHY? She cried but no one answer came. This was so innocent to help her brother, but now only silent frustration – a silent scream.

The shame was too great. Satan told her that no one would ever want her – he whispered – see, you are God’s best and He allowed this to happened to you. You better go now and …then suddenly her other brother enters the room – Absalom.

Oh, he tried to wipe her tears and ease the pain. But what he didn’t know that you heard the voice – but not of the beloved, but the enemy. Oh, the torment so great that you couldn’t bear it any longer. She put on the ashes and tore her clothes of purity (righteousness) and put on filthy rags. She could no longer believe that she was pure before God.

There are several kinds of rape – emotional, physical, and spiritual. There are many ways to be victimized. Tamar suffered because of something out of her control and she feels guilty about being a victim. But she does not have to be a victim, but can be a transmitter of the power of God. But she decided to remain desolate in her brother Absalom’s house.

In reality, she became bitter at God. She thought that God caused her problem.

There are some things that I want to tell Tamar and tell you. No matter what has happen, you are still God’s best.

1. You are still God’s child (His daughter) and nothing can change that RELATIONSHIP.

Even in my messes and broken state – JESUS still died and arose on the third day. I don’t have to live in any condemnation. I am free from the law of sin and death. He has made me righteous. Don’t put on the filthy rags again. You are made the righteousness of God. God did not cause your problem, but the enemy. He is trying to block you from fulfilling your purpose in the earth realm.

II Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if any man BE in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Now that settles it. Put it in the past. Your relationship is secure – YOU ARE NEW. It is time to renew your mind in the Word with this reality.

Song of Solomon 6:2

I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine: he feeds among the lilies.

The moment you are freed from all self-seeking, you will now that you belong completely to your Beloved. You know that you will never lose Him. He repays your pain with the greatest affection; He feeds you with purity.

2. Use your POWER.

Song of Solomon 6:3

You are beautiful, my love, sweet and lovely as Jerusalem, terrible as an army prepared for war.

As beautiful as you are to Christ, you are frightening to the devil. The enemies of God fear you because you are united with Him. You are an army prepared for war.

My husband always says that we can give the keys of the car to our two-year granddaughter, Destinee. She will not know what to do with the keys because she does not know the power she has in her hands. If you have all power and authority and don’t know how to use it, then the power is useless. You’ve got the power! Use it.

Luke 10:19

“Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the powers of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

3. Believe in your DESTINY!

The first step is to recognize your value. When you do, you cause the seeds of GREATNESS to come into being in you.

These seeds will grow. It will be like a miracle at work in you. Others treat you like you treat yourself. You win the confidence of others when you practice trusting yourself. Tamar decided to be desolate and others treated her that way. She died an “old maid” because she couldn’t understand that her destiny could not be stopped.

Never – ever entertain negative or demeaning thoughts about yourself. Never speak of yourself as useless, not necessary or as a second class person – don’t do it.

Destiny is at work in you!

Song of Solomon 8:13

You that dwell in your garden, your companions in the garden hear your voice; let me hear it too.

The Bridegroom invites you to speak on His behalf to teach others of Him. He desires you to go forth. But you have grown accustomed to being in the garden – wonderful presence of God. You want to preserve that moment. But He is saying, “Let me hear your voice”. Arise and walk in your destiny.

LET’S LOOK AT THE LIFE OF DEBORAH. SHE REALIZED THAT SHE WAS GOD’S BEST. In order to ARISE and be God’s Best, you must know that you are a Messenger, you have a Mandate, and you have a Message.

I MESSENGER

God wants to use His to be forerunners.

Forerunner – one that precedes.

Judges 4:4

Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, was judging Israel at that time.

Deborah was a Prophetess. She led the nation in the second longest deliverance (20 years). She was one called to provide access to the word of God in a place where there is a need for God’s word and direction to be given.

As forerunners, we need to lead the nations into deliverance. We have an enemy that must be conquered and an inheritance that must be snatched from the enemies’ camp. We are messengers and anointed for the tasks. You are God’s best for the job.

Psalm 20:6-8

Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen; but we have risen and stand upright.

II THE MANDATE

Judges 4:6-9a

Then she sent and called for Barak the son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali, and said to him, “Has not the Lord God of Israel commanded, ‘Go and deploy troops at Mount Taboor; take with you ten thousand men of the sons of Naphtali and of the sons of Zebulun, and against you I will deploy Sisera, the commander of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his multitude at the River Kishon; and I will deliver him into your hand’?” And Barak said to her, “If you will go with me, I will surely go, but if you will not go with me, I will not go.” So she said, “I will surely go with you;…”

As spokeswomen, we are to gently expose the area by which Satan has bound those to whom God sends us.

III THE MESSAGE.

We have a directed message.

Deborah was able to do the mandate because she could hear God’s voice. She had learn God’s directed message, given to her at a specific point of time for a specific course of action.

Because Deborah had received this directed message, she was able to give good counsel to Barak.

Our message today is “JESUS IS LORD”. He died, was buried, and arose on the 3rd day. You are righteous because He made you righteous. You don’t have to be under condemnation today. His death was your death. When He arose, you arose. You have eternal life within you. When he sat at the right hand of God, you sat also. We are joint-heirs with Jesus. The same substance that is in God is now in you and that makes you a winner. YOU ARE GOD”S BEST!

SO SOAR TODAY, ARISE TO THE REVELATION THAT YOU ARE NEW CREATURES IN CHRIST – GOD’S BEST. SAY THIS CONFESSION NOW:

In Jesus’ Name, I am created in the image and likeness of God to manifest Him in the earth realm. I am made for life, power, prosperity, love, power, prosperity, success, progress, dignity, and GREATNESS. I am valuable and have purpose. God did not make me inferior. I am first class all the way and I go first class in life. I am exceptional — I am one of a kind. I was on God’s mind before the beginning of the world. God needs me at this time to minister to this generation. I am born in the right place. I have a special purpose that no one on the earth can fulfill. No one on earth can do what I am called to do. I am part of a winning team. Nothing can stop me! Knowing I am valuable, I see others as God sees them. I see myself in God’s image. Together, we can never fail. Father, everything is possible in You. Thank You Lord for making me Your best! Amen
