Topic: How to see Jesus Christ in Christmas

During this Christmas season, our Lord Jesus Christ should be the focal point of our Christmas celebration is because during this holiday season and on December 25th is the time that we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Now there are some people who will try to argue and debate with you about the birth date of Jesus Christ saying that he was not born on December 25th. But the importance is not in knowing if Jesus was born on December 25th or not, but it the importance is in knowing and believing that He was born.

You see, over 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ was born in a city called Bethlehem. When He was born, he was born not in a hospital like most of us, but He was born in a stable, in a manger, where all the animals slept because the scripture says that there was no room for them (Mary, Joseph, and newborn baby Jesus) in the inn.

But what makes Jesus birth so special is that He was born in virgin birth of a virgin woman by the power of the Holy Ghost. That is, Jesus Christ birth was not an act of Joseph and Mary having any type of sexual relations with each other. But rather it was the act of the Holy Ghost coming upon Mary and overshadowing her, and she became pregnant with the Son of God without having any sexual relations with any man. But when the Holy Spirit came upon Mary to impregnate her with Jesus, this was also an act of God the Father sending his Son Jesus Christ to save the world from their sins. That is, God sent His Son Jesus Christ into the world through the virgin birth of a virgin woman Mary by the power of the Holy Ghost.

Isaiah 7:14 says, “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign: Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”

Isaiah 9;6 says, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

John 1:1-2 says, “In the beginning was the Word(Jesus Christ) and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God…..

“And the Word became flesh( through the virgin birth of a virgin woman by the power of the Holy Ghost), and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

Galatians 4:4 says “But when the fullness of time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law…….. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosever believeth in him should not perish, but shall have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

And because Jesus was born in a virgin birth of a virgin woman by the power of the Holy Ghost, when he was born, he was born with a sinless nature. You see, when we were born, we were all born with a sinful nature because our birth was brought about by man, and because our birth was brought about by man, all of us was born in sin, because man is a sinner.

But because Jesus Christ birth was wrought by the Holy Ghost, and not by man, he was born with a sinless nature. And because Jesus was born with a sinless nature, He was able to be the Savior of the world because in order for Jesus to save us from our sins, He had to be without sin. And rightfully so, Jesus was without sin. And because Jesus was born without sin, He is rightfully called Immanuel, which means God with us.

He is rightfully called Wonderful.

He is rightfully called the Wonderful Counselor.

He is rightfully called the Mighty God.

He is rightfully called the Everlasting Father.

Because Jesus was born without sin,

He is rightfully called the Son of God.

He is rightfully called the Son of the Most High God.

He rightfully called the Bread of Life. He is rightfully called the Good Shepherd.

He is rightfully called the Light of the World.

He is rightfully called the Living Word of God.

He is rightfully called the Resurrection and the Life.

He is rightfully called the Water of Life.

He is rightfully called the Savior of the world.

He is rightfully called the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords.

Because Jesus was born without sin, He is able to heal the sick

Because Jesus was born without sin, He is able to lift up when you are down.

Because Jesus was born without sin, He is able to give sight to the blind

Because Jesus was born without sin, He is able to make the deaf hear again

Because Jesus was born without sin, He is able to make the cripple walk

Because Jesus was born without sin, He is able to calm a sea storm

Because Jesus was born without sin, He is able to walk on water

Because Jesus was born without sin, He is able to raise the dead back to life again

Because Jesus was born without sin, He is able to feed 5,000 with 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread.

Because Jesus was born without sin, He was able to save us to the uptmost, and give us salvation. And if you want to have a meaningful Christmas this year, you have to see Jesus in Christmas.

Now the question is, how do I see Jesus in Christmas?

Well, to see Jesus in Christmas, you have to take each letter in Christmas apart, and each letter in Christmas tell you who Jesus is.

1. The letter C in Christmas tells us that Jesus is the Christ, the Annointed One of God. Matthew 16:16, Peter said to Jesus, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God.

2. The letter H in Christmas tells us that when Jesus was born in a manger in Bethelhem, according to Acts 4:27 says that Jesus was born as a Holy Child of God.

3. The letter R in Christmas tells us that Jesus Christ is the Resurrection and the Life; for in John 11:25-26, Jesus says, I am the Resurrection and the Life. He that believeth in me though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believeth thou this?

4. The letter I in Christmas tell us that Jesus Christ is Immanuel, which means God with us, for in Isaiah 7:14 says, “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; behold a virgin shall concieve, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel

5. The letter S in Christmas tells us that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world; for in Matthew 1:21 says, “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus; for he shall save his people from their sins.”

6. The letter T in Christmas tell us that Jesus Christ is the True Light that lighteth every man that cometh into the world according to St. John 1:9.

7. The letter M in Christmas tells us that Jesus Christ is the Mighty God according to Isaiah 9:6.

8. The letter A in Christmas tells us that Jesus Christ is the Alpha and Omega according to Revelation 1:8.

9. The letter S in Christmas tell us that Jesus Christ is the source of our Salvation, for Acts 4:12 says, there is no other name under heaven given among men that can save us or give us salvation, except the name JESUS!!!!!!

Yes, you find Jesus all up in Christmas because He is the Reason for the Season! He is the reason for Joy. He is the Reason for Peace. He is the Reason for love. He is the Reason for Worship and Praise. He is the Reason for our Service. He is the Reason for our Healing, our Deliverance, our Redemption, our Forgiveness of sins

Now notice this. Now notice if you would read Matthew 1:18-25, and Luke 1:26-38. Notice that God does not tell Joseph and Mary to name Jesus Jehovah Jireh which means The Lord provides.

Notice that God does not tell Joseph and Mary to name Jesus Jehovah-Shalom, which means The Lord is our peace.

Notice that God does not tell Joseph and Mary to name Jesus Jehovah-Shammah, which means that the Lord is there.

Notice that God does not tell Joseph and Mary to name Jesus Jehovah-Tsidkenu, which means the Lord is our righteousness.

Notice that God does not tell Joseph and Mary to name Jesus Jehovah-Nissi, which means that the Lord is our banner.

Notice that God does not tell Joseph and Mary to name Jesus Jehovah-Rophe, which means the Lord heals

Notice that God does not tell Joseph and Mary to name Jesus Jehovah-Roii, which means the Lord is our Shepherd.

Notice that God does not tell Joseph and Mary to name Jesus any of those Jehovah names but Jesus.

Why you may ask? Well, I believe instead of trying to remember everyone of those Jehovah names that I just mentioned, you are better off in just remembering the name JESUS, because Jesus is able to provide for you needs!

Jesus is able to give us peace in the midst of the storm!

Jesus will always be right there; he will never leave you or forsake you!

Jesus is our righteousness!

Jesus is able to heal!

Jesus has his banner of love over us!

Jesus is our Good Shepherd!

So if you don’t remember any other Jehovah names, just remember the name Jesus. That is all you need because there salvation in the name of Jesus.
