I. Meditate Day and Night (OREO)

A. Have you ever walked down the cookie isle at a grocery store and noticed how many different types of Oreos there are. Regular, Double Stuffed, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Covered, Bars, even Ice Cream. When I was growing up there was only one kind ¡V an Oreo. How do you know which one to pick?

1. Go by someone else¡¦s recommendation.

2. Try one to see if you like it.

3. May depend on the particular mood your in.

4. You may want more than one.

B. The same is true when you go to look for a Bible there are several different versions. King James, New International, New American Standard, New Century, New King James, Revised. How do you know which one to use?

1. Go by someone else¡¦s recommendation.

2. Try one and see if you can understand it.

3. You may need different ones.

C. O ¡V Open Your Bible. (Joshua 1:8)

II. Do not turn to the left or right ¡V Understand Bible (AIM)

A. When used properly what can a shotgun provide?

1. Food.

2. Safety.

B. When used improperly what does a shotgun do?

1. Injury.

2. Death.

C. When used properly what can the Bible provide?

1. Spiritual Food.
