God Is In the House
Exodus 40:34-38
34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
36 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys: {went onward: Heb. journeyed}
37 But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.
38 For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
God, in the day that we live in, is pouring out His Holy Spirit upon the world in general.
We live in a day that has been prophesied about, a day where God really is doing great things.
We live in a day that we see where Bible Prophesy is being fulfilled right before our eyes.
We live in a day when Jesus Christ is standing in our midst.
Moses was a man who was a servant, but yet he was a friend of God.
He was a man that God had chosen to reveal Himself to and He was going to show Him great and might things.
Numbers 12:4-9
4 And the LORD spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out.
5 And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth.
6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.
7 My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.
8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
9 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and he departed.
Miriam and Aaron had spoken against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman he had married.
They apparently felt that this woman was not of their own kind, so she had no right to be where she was at.
When the Word of God tells us that we are not to be unequally yoked, it is talking about someone who does not believe the way you believe.
Moses did not take one of his own people to be his wife, so she must have been a believer in the God that Moses served.
A lot of times people let their own emotions try to dictate what they think God is speaking.
Miriam and Aaron are complaining because they don’t see how God could or would let this happen.
They asked the question “Has the Lord indeed spoken only by Moses? Has He not also spoken by us?”
The Lord heard their complaint, and in verse 4 it says that the Lord spoke suddenly unto Moses, Miriam and to Aaron.
Numbers 12:5-9
5 And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth.
6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.
7 My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.
8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
9 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and he departed.
God was saying yes I am speaking to you, but you’re not really listening to what I have said.
If there is a Prophet among you, I will make myself known to him in a vision and I will speak to him in a dream, but not so with Moses.
I will speak to him mouth to mouth, so why are you speaking against my servant Moses?
In other words, keep your mouth shut and don’t talk about God’s anointed.
God was in the house.
In our opening scripture it says: “Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle”.
The Glory that fills the tabernacle fills our hearts and lives here presently in the Person of the Holy Spirit.
Moses was not able to enter the tent of the congregation because the cloud was there.
Then it says that the Glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
What this seems to be saying is that the Lord’s presence was so strong that Moses was not able to enter the tabernacle.
There might even be the possibility that the Presence of God was so strong that it might have even knocked him off of his feet.
Exodus 40:36
36 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys: {went onward: Heb. journeyed}
The children of Israel were on a journey, but wherever they went it was God who was leading them.
Exodus 40:38
38 For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
God led all of their journeys no matter where they went; He was in control of their destiny.
We need to have an understanding that God does not change and what He did, He is still doing today.
We just have to be a people that will follow wherever that Glory cloud leads us.

Dream 3-6-08
I dreamed that I was observing a house. Then I was in the house. The house was not real big. God’s Presence was literally filling the house.
Interpretation
Observing dream means that it is a message
The message is for me, because I was in the house
I saw God’s presence literally filling the house
1.O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.
2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. {compassest: or, winnowest}
4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
God knows everything that there is to know about us, He searches us and He knows us.
He knows what you think and He knows what I think.
Since He searches me, He knows what I long for and the same thing goes for you.
He wants us to know this morning that He really does see and understand everything that there is to know about us.
He wants you to know that He really is standing in your midst; He is even in your house when you are praying in secret.
He knows your doubts and insecurities.
This morning He wants you to know that He is in this house and His presence is filling this place up, and if you choose to participate in the things of Him, you will be able to walk where many great Prophets and Apostles have walked.
God wants you to know that many are called but few are chosen.
God not only let me see, but He let me experience Him filling up the house.
A lot of Christians see what God is doing, but they are not experiencing Him the way that God wants them to.
Church, it is time to get all the way in this walk of faith and let God be God of our whole lives.
Acts 2:1-4
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
This is the day that was prophesied by Joel and that Peter preached about, Church this is that:
Acts 2:13-18
13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Church, God is in this house. Don’t you think that it is time to quit observing and start experiencing what God wants to do within your lives?
I believe in God’s Word and I believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
I believe in signs and wonders, and I believe in speaking in other tongues as the Spirit of God gives the utterance.
Where are you at this morning?
Are you on the outside looking in?
Are you just observing what God can do?
It is time for you to let God fill you to overflowing this morning.
It is time to quit watching and time to get in that latter rain that is falling in our house this morning.
Don’t be like Miriam and Aaron and start criticizing what you think you understand.
Don’t talk about God’s anointed, pray yes, but don’t be a fault finder.
Don’t go around saying God told me this when it’s apparent that God never spoke to you at all.
Yes, God had, at times, spoken to Miriam and Aaron but they got so self righteous that they stopped hearing what God was saying.
Closing
This morning, I just want you to come up front and we are going to ask God to fill this house with His Presence.
We are going to ask God to fill us up to overflowing.
Lord, send the Holy Ghost and fire to our house this morning.
The Lord is searching your heart this morning and He wants to do a work within your lives today.
