People Need the LORD
Reading Through the Bible, we see how the LORD changed people.
Saul in Samuel was turned into another man...
1 Samuel 10:6-7
6 And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.
7 And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee.
Do you remember your experience when you came to Christ?
Were you changed in an instant?
I’ve seen people so changed you wouldn’t recognize them from who they were before Christ.
It’s amazing how the Spirit of the Lord makes us as a new creature.
Everything is about Change. God Changes Things.
Jesus Came to the Earth and the WORLD Changed.
He came and said he would return. Can you even remotely imagine what it will be like in his return?
Jesus is coming Soon.
The World as we know it is changing.
We hear of Global Warming.
We see how God has made the world to sustain itself...for a time.
Fuels. Are they from Dinosaurs, or is the world replenishing oil from the waste of the world?
Ice-Glaciers. Receding many hundreds of feet each year. Is this all the Good Water of the world in these glaciers. Melting for our use for a time?
Our bodies. Fearfully and wonderfully made. We can only minutely understand how God made us.
But All for a Time and Purpose.
How Long will this Earth Be Here?
I was watching a Discovery Channel program about the earth. And We always hear about 10 million years ago, or 100 gazillion years ago... Whatever.
In 7 days. God Created EVERYTHING that was made. And it was Good.
God Made the WHOLE earth in 7 days. And He was Done
Everything was made with a plan.
Trees and Plants for food.
The Rain/Water Cycle
The Oceans and the Mountains.
Think about this thought.
HOW old is this world? 7,000 years +/-?
The bible refers to a day as a thousand years, and a thousand years as a day...
IF 7 is the perfect number. is a 7000 year old earth at its end?
Interesting thought isn’t it?
Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
We know that the Gideons are placing Bibles in every language throughout the whole earth.
Television and radio broadcasts to the ends of the earth.
We are on the very virge of seeing something wonderful. Christ’s return.
We can only imagine it. And even then. We can only imagine eternity with Him in our own understanding. But God says its more than we can imagine...
1 Corinthians 2:9
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
And if it is more than we can imagine, it must be absolutely more glorious and wonderful than anything. And That is Seeing JESUS return.
1 Thessalonians 2:19-20
19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?
20 For ye are our glory and joy.
And if we have that much to look forward to, and the Time is close at hand...What are we doing to Tell others about Jesus.
Mark 16:15
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
And God gave the GOSPEL to EVERYONE, Every nation, Every tongue, Every People...
Revelation 14:5:7
6And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
7Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
And The Time is NOW.
When you see something so wonderful
When you experience something so amazing
When you feel something that stirs you up and gives you joy that makes you want to shout.
Don’t you want to share it with somebody?
Do you get on the phone and call someone to share it with them?
Don’t you want others to experience it too?
What are you doing about it?
People NEED the LORD.
We NEED the LORD.
GET THE WORD OUT and SHARE IT WITH SOMEBODY.
