IS THERE NOT A CAUSE?
Romans 10:13-21
Text being 13-15 Romans For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
Folks I’m not going to be crazy like the rumors have been told.
Yet there is no prove that I do that. You know foam at the mouth,scream & holler or get excited.
But I do want to share my heart with you, & hopefully share my burden that the Lord has called me to do.
As way of introduction may I share this with you?
In America there are:
(1) over 282,000,000 million souls
(2) Nearly 30,000,000 million profess no religion
(3) 71% of the population is unconverted or nominally Christian
(4) over 4,000 churches of all kind close each year
(5) 6 out of 10 children under 16 have never been to Sunday School
(6) 7 out of 10 teenagers over 16 have never been to church
(7) over 4,000 abortions performed each day
(8) Over 500 murders each day (According to Bob Jones University web page)
(Why did I mention these – Because without Christ this is part of the wickness)
I don’t know about you – This bothers me
IS THERE NOT A CAUSE
We give to the foreign field- That’s great
But we have forgotten about our own back yard
We have gotten away from starting churches in South Texas.
People are dying & going to Hell everyday in South Texas
As we travel in South Texas & look at the people
NO HOPE – NO DIRECTION- NO SMILE
We find the Catholic – Methodist- Lutheran- Jehovah False Witness
Yes even 1st & 2nd Baptist Churches in these towns
MY QUESTION TO YOU IS THIS
ARE THEY PREACHING THE GOSPEL?
DO THEIR PEOPLE KNOW
IF THEY WERE TO DIE! WHERE WOULD THEY SPEND ENTERNITY?
A young man 18 years old w/girlfriend. He didn’t believe at all in Jesus
Man & his son on their porch. He stopped his son from trusting in Jesus. (I believe he did)
A man & his son told us they had their own way.
A Baptist young man didn’t know how to go to heaven (a Baptist)
Another man told us he was part of a group that kicked Jesus out 800 years ago
IS THERE NOT A CAUSE?

PLANTING LOCAL CHURCHES IN SMALL TEXAS TOWNS
Proverbs 23: 10a Remove not the old landmark....
THE BIBLE TALKS OF NOT REMOVING NOT THE OLD LANDMARKS
BUT WE HAVE DONE THAT VERY THING
GOTTON AWAY FROM STARTING CHURCHES IN OUR HOMELAND
In the old days a Preacher would move to a town & start preaching
We have gotten away from that
Men what a church already built
Not work it like the old days 1 Door at a time
In Ezekiel 22:30 the Bible says this
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
Again in Isaiah
Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
I want to be that man to stand in the gap
My desire is to go into South Texas Towns under God’s direction
Where there is no Independent Fundamental Baptist Church & get busy

THIS IS JUST TO NAME A FEW
Every Preacher we talk to love the idea of starting churches
But we want to go where God wants the churches started
God’s direction
Our goal is to see several independent, fundamental, Baptist churches started. We are not ashamed of our Baptist heritage
We plan to go door to door & Build a Church for God’s Glory
Each Church God allows us to start will be called
Bethel Baptist Church
MEANS (THE HOUSE OF GOD) WILL BE HIS HOUSE
Goal is to get started & self supporting turn over to a Pastor
Go to the next town and do it again
(JUST A THOUGHT ONLY 10% GIVE TO MISSIONS IN THE AVG CHURCH)
We believe this ministry will help excite your people to give more to missions
YOU MAY ASK HOW?
As they get more closely involved (seeing) with the planting of churches on the forgotten field of South Texas…
Just think about it not all can go over seas & see the work.
This will be close enough they can come & see. Be able to have a hands on experience in the work
In Their Own Back Yard.
I believe they will be encouraged as they see church after church being planted.
Thus start to give more to missions
I DON’T KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN
MAKE IT OR FALL ON OUR FACE
I DO KNOW THIS
PEOPLE ARE DYING & GOING TO HELL
I know others are now working toward starting Churches in America.
Many churches, even some claiming to be Baptist,
Have been started yet they have left the "old paths" & have erected new "landmarks".
Proverbs 22:28 Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.
They have abandoned the BIBLE (KJV) for newer versions.
They have abandoned door to door soul winning
They have abandoned old fashion heart filled God honoring songs
They have abandoned the truth! (This is my own thoughts)
2 Thes. 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
This great "falling away" is taking place right before our eyes.
IS THERE NOT A CAUSE
The Biblical church planting movement. That America desperately must have, needs the following:
(1) Much Prayer:
Please pray with us that God give the strength to carry task before
(2) Empowerment of the Holy Spirit:
Without the power of Spirit upon us, our efforts will not be in vain
(3) Support from
"Like minded" churches to stand with us with finances to get the job done.
FOUR QUESTIONS TO THINK ABOUT
1.How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Answer is: The Lost cannot call on the Lord to be saved until they believe:
a) “That Christ died for our sins according to the scripture
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
b) He was buried
And that he was buried,
c) He rose again on the 3rd day according to the scriptures
and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Thus giving us
1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
They need to hear the truth The whole truth & Nothing but the truth
FOLKS IN AMERICA THERE ARE THOSE WHO STILL HAVE NOT HEARD
2) How shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard?
Answer is: The Lost cannot believe in Him until they hear the good news of salvation
The eunuch had to hear to believe in Acts 8:26-39
(Philip in revival pulled away WHY? God sent him for 1 man)
Paul had to hear to believe in Acts 9:1-18
(Go to Acts * read 1-8) He heard the voice of the Lord
Cornelius had to hear to believe in Acts 10:1-48
The Philippian jailer had to hear to believe in Acts 16:25-40
(They were signing & praising God then the earthquake hit He was about to kill himself then they spoke Jesus)
The woman at the well had to hear to believe in
John 4:1-29
Zaccheus had to hear to believe in Luke 19:1-10
I had to hear the gospel to believe
You had to hear the Gospel to believe
Just a few examples
3) How shall they hear without a preacher?
Answer is: They cannot unless hear the good news of salvation without a witness
The eunuch was saved because Philip witness
Paul was saved because Stephen witness in his death Acts 7: 54-60
Then Jesus the God-man Himself witness. Then was sent to Annanias who witness to him in Acts 9:1-18
Cornelius & his house were saved because Peter witnessed
The Philippian jailer & his house were saved because Paul & Salas witnessed
I was saved because Bro. Ridge came to San Antonio. Started Liberty Baptist Church & he witnessed to me
You were saved because someone started a church & witnessed to you
There are towns (in our back yard) out there with Religion but no Gospel
I want to take the true Gospel to them
Give them Hope
Tell Them the Truth
According to God’s Word the Lost cannot be saved without a witness.
They must have a witness to hear
They must hear to believe
They must believe to call
They must call to be saved
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
The Problem Is
They cannot call until they believe
They cannot believe until they hear
They cannot hear without a witness
SO THEN FAITH (SAVING FAITH) COMETH BY HEARING
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Some one needs to Bring or preach that message
I want to take that message all over South Texas and Preach Jesus
The whole counsel
OUR GOAL IS SIMPLE!
GO
START
WIN
BAPTIZE
TEACH
Turn over to a Pastor
Start again in another town
Which leads up to my last question
4) How shall they preach, except they are sent?
Answer is: They cannot until someone is sent
This is where you come in!
We need your prayers & financial support to do this.
If I had the money to go and get a building (rent), buy song books, pay for the gas, a place to park the trailer for us to stay there all weekend, electricity, water, get a keyboard, pulpit & etc
I WOULD
But I can’t do it alone
(Just to let you know we are debt free)
Except house payment (almost over) - the trailer – food - utilities’ – ins
We know we are on the right track
God has told me what he wanted from me
(As much as I love being an evangelist & we saw God do some great things- But He has laid this burden on us & we want so badly to do it for God’s glory)
The things that have happened
The van story: I wanted to buy a pickup. You know all men in Texas have just got to have a pickup. My wife popped off with this. If we are going to start churches. Don’t you think we need a van to pick up people. Wives who needs them right. She was right. We went to the ford dealer saw a 12 passenger van for 21 thousand. To make a long story short after much prayer (In his office) & trading in a car without them seeing it. We walked out of there with this new van 12 thousand eighty dollars. (Tax title & license) (God paid it off in 30 days) 1500.00 for the things needed – A envelope W/ 10 -100 bills in it – another man reached in his pocket & gave all he hand (said wish I had more, God told me to give it to you) Many more stories I could share with you
It’s like sending out a foreign missionary but only in your back yard

Why Plant More Churches in SOUTH TEXAS?
I know of at least 5 good reasons to plant more churches:
Church planting is God’s way of spreading the gospel. Establishing a Bible believing KJV Church where needed
The driving issue in church planting is to fulfill the Great Commission.
Church planting is an "open door opportunity," (much fruit)
Church planting is needed during this time of doctrinal defection, compromise, sinking standards, & spiritual downfall.
Church planting is the Lord’s will for some men.
Church planting is desperately needed in many South Texas communities.
We will work with our sending church (Fredericksburg Baptist Church along with our Pastor Larry Foster) to ensure every dollar that is donated is spent wisely.
(You will receive a report on everything that is done)
You will know where your money is going
Our sending church has helped develop a plan for starting a church in the town where God has called us.
Together, we determine the right support level to meet the projected ministry expenses.
We need 10 to 12 churches at 50.00 a month we can do this
This is a ministry that needs your support.
