ABOUNDING GRACE

Text: 2nd Cor: 8 : 9For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

1. Abounding Grace

Rom: 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

2nd Cor: 4:15For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

2. Electing Grace

Rom:11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

2nd Tim: 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

3. Saving Grace

Eph: 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Titus:2: 11For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

4. Establishing Grace

Heb:13:9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

5. Justifying Grace

Rom: 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Titus 3: 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

6. Giving Grace

2nd Cor: 7Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

8And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

James 4: 6But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

7.Sustaining Grace

2nd Cor:12: 9And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

1st Peter 5: 10But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

8. Reigning Grace

Rom:5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
