Rev.# 20~6:3-4 RIDER ON THE RED HORSE 8-29-09
We’re here in chapter 6: of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, the 1st two verses are to do with the white horse and its rider and is telling about the Antichrist, as we have already said this man appears to come peaceable, he has signed an agreement with Israel that he will guarantee their safety, {DAN. 9:27} but his hidden agenda is to destroy Israel and he will later attempt to do so.
The first horseman could not be Christ, because when Christ brings peace to this earth, it is going to be permanent. This is a short-lived peace.
The peace, which the rider on the white horse brought to the earth, was temporary and counterfeit. The Antichrist presents himself as a ruler who brings peace to the world, but (Isa. 57:21). “There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked”
Lets red verses 1-4.—and lets be sure and notice that it’s the Lamb, the Lord Jesus Christ that is opening the seals, as He was the only One found worthy to do so back in chapter 5:
1And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, {a storm is on its way} one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
2And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
He did not earn this crown, it is given to him, he has deceived the people with his silver tong and lying promises.

3And when he {Jesus} had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
4And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
This is at the mid point of the 7-year Tribulation, from this point on until the battle of Armageddon will be a time of blood shed and war. It is a series of battles until the end.
This is when Gog and Magog attacks Israel, we read about this battle in Ezekiel 38:-39.
The people involved in this battle are named there; Russia will head up this attack, they see Israel at rest and without walls of protection and Israel will appear to them as an easy prey, their coming to destroy Israel and to take a spoil and a prey, or so they think.
God is bringing them into the hills of Israel for destruction.

Let me say that THE TITLE “ROSH” is due to ro’sh being the common Hebrew word for "head" or "chief"
This name occurs in the prophecies against Gog in Ezek 38:2,3 and 39:1

Let us never forget, God has a divine plan, and in His plan is the enilation of sin and sinners, nothing can detain or alter the coarse of His plan, His plan is exactly on schedule today, its not early and its not late, He has every thing under His complete control, He is the Director of all happenings of the world, even the chaos we see here in this country and around the world, the economics must be in array in order that the “one world money, the one world government can come to pass”
Most of us are up set and worried about the seemingly catastrophe that this current Administration is bringing on our nation, and rightly so, people are protesting all over the nation at these town hall meetings while it appears that our leaders are unconcerned, as their off on their vacations.
Just remember that God is at the helm of this ship and its headed the way He has foreordained it to go.

At the mid point of the Tribulation, according to Ezekiel 38:-39 -5/6th of Russia and this coalition will be destroyed, and their not destroyed by any army of the world, their destroyed by Jehovah God Himself.
Israel has all down through the ages had to fight many battles, but she has not been destroyed, God has always preserved a remnant, Israel will be around forever while the godless nations are no longer here.

This false peace ends with the battle of Gog and Megog in Ezekiel 38-39. At the half waypoint of the 7 year tribulation. The last 3 ½ years is known as the great tribulation.

Listen as I read from Ezekiel 38:-39.
1And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2Son of man,*[EZEKIEL] set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
Rosh is a reference to Russia. being the common Hebrew word for "head" or "chief"
Rosh signifies the inhabitants of Scythia from whom the modern Russians derive their name. Russia was first called Muscovy, derived from Meshech. ==[Moscow]
Ivan the Fourth, a czar *of Russia, who was called Ivan the Terrible, came to the Muscovite throne in 1533.
He assumed the title of Czar, which was the first time the title, was used.--today Obama has appointed czars--
We notice the names Meshech and Tubal’ they sound like Moscow, and Tobolsk, which is in Sib-er-ia.
Directions in the Bible are always in relation to the land of Israel. In the Bible north is north of the land of Israel. South is south of the land of Israel. West is west of the land of Israel, and east is east of the land of Israel. Israel is the geographical center of the earth as far as the Word of God is concerned.
3And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: 4And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
Ezekiel used words that the people reading it in that day could relate to, if he had used words such as, ‘AIRPLANES, MISSILES, TANKS AND THE LIKE IT WOULD NOT BE UNDERSTOOD.
5-6 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: 6Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.
The nations and peoples banded together under the leadership of Gog are: Rosh, being the Russian nation; Meshech, being Moscow; Tubal being Tobolsk; Persia, being today’s Iran; Ethiopia or Cush, being an Arabic nation, Libya or Put also an Arabic nation, Gomer, is not modern-day Germany as many suppose, Gomer is a reference to the Cimmerians of north central Asia Minor (Cappadocia). and Togarmah, being what is named in modern times as Turkey or Armenia.
7Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them. –Russia is today big allies with all these infidel nations.--
8After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years**[this is a reference to the tribulation period, the latter years- thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people,**--may 14th 1948 Israel became a nation, up until then you could not look on a world map and see Israel, but now you can-- against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste:**GOD HAS BLESSED THAT LAND AND TODAY’S SHE FLOURISHES, THEY GROW THINGS THERE THAT NEVER SEEMED TO BE POSSIBLE-- but it is brought forth out of the nations,--the Jews has and still are coming home to their land today, still in unbelief for the most part-- and they shall dwell safely all of them.
1 Thessalonians 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
9Thou *[Russia and this coalition] shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.
10Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought: -God will lay it on their hearts and mind- Prov.21: 1The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
11And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, 12To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
Ø 13Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof**, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil? *
NO BODY EXTENDS A HELPING HAND TO AID Israel, she is all alone, of coarse God has said it would be that way.
14Therefore, son of man, *prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it? 15And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: 16And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
The nations of the northern confederacy are communistic, and rapidly moving in that direction. As such, they are anti-God, being atheistic and materialistic. The Communist bloc of nations today represents the greatest military power in the world. It appears that the Lord will lead them to put all their military might together that by their destruction He might prove that He is God in the eyes of the world.
17Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them? 18And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.
19For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; 20So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
21And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother.
22And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Ezekiel 39: 1Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: 2And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel: 3And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand. 4Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. 5Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD. 6And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD. 7So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. –READ ALL OF Ezekiel 39:
The greatest military power in the world will not be able to stand when God lets loose His fury by causing mountains, valleys, and buildings to be leveled. Added to this will be floods, fire and brimstone, and even confusion in the troops taking each other’s lives, God will be magnified, because it will be recognized that the Lord has done this.
Lets remember that the Antichrist is evidently in Rome at this particular time, and he has guaranteed protection to Israel, but before he can bring his forces to Israel’s aid the invasion starts, he sees the invading force destroyed and its all by Gods hand, Israel army had nothing to do with it.
He will see this as a great opportunity to invade Israel as a hugh number of opposing forces are now destroyed.
