Who can tell you the extent and weight of a Divine curse, how far it reaches, how deep it pierces? Only in Christ are believers saved from curses, and inherit the blessing.

Curse – Is defined as a blessing withheld

Cain was cursed from the earth.

The wickedness of the wicked brings a curse upon all they do, and all they have.

Cain does not whine about his sin but rather whines about his punishment.

Don’t be so caught up in your suffering that you forget your sins by doing so your own suffering will overshadow the sin to the point that you forget to ask for forgiveness.

God has wise and holy ends in prolonging the lives even of very wicked men.

2) He teaches us that persecution must be expected by the righteous.

3) That there is a future state

4) Eternal reward to be enjoyed

Because all of it is linked to faith in Christ and his atoning sacrifice.
