21 REVELATIONS ABOUT THE AMAZING GRACE OF GOD

****************************************************************

1. SALVATION

The grace of God brings forgiveness for our sins. Man has no right to demand forgiveness from God. God can punish Man for all his sins. But in His grace He chose to provide a way of Salvation through the death of His Son on the cross. Therefore it is by the grace of God we receive pardon for our sins. When we humble ourselves and acknowledge our sins and repent the Lord is merciful to forgive our transgressions and iniquities .The fundamental blessing we receive through the grace of God is the salvation of our soul. Salvation is a free gift , an unmerited favour bestowed which none of us deserve. No one deserves the son of God to die for their sins. Therefore the blessing we receive through the grace of God is the salvation of our soul. The grace of God makes us righteous before God. Therefore we need to be strong in the grace of God and experience His mercy in our lives.

Ephesians 2:1-5

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,

in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.

All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,

made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

Romans 3:23-24

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

2. SELECTION

The grace of God causes us to find favour in His eyes. By His grace the Lord has chosen us to be His people and to serve Him for His glory. It is not our accomplishment or effort that made God to choose us .It is His sovereign grace that He has bestowed upon us. The opportunities and the responsibilities that we have are given to us by God according to His grace and mercy.

Luke 1: 26-33

In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee,

to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.

The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”

Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be.

But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God.

You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.

He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David,

and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.”

Romans 9: 15-18

For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”

It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.

For Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”

Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.

Galatians 1:11-16

I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin.

I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.

For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism, how intensely I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it.

I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my people and was extremely zealous for the traditions of my fathers.

But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased

to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, my immediate response was not to consult any human being.

Romans 12:3-8

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.

For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function,

so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith;

if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach;

if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

1 Corinthians 3:10-15

By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care.

For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.

If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw,

their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work.

If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward.

If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.

3. SOULWINNING

The grace of God enables and empowers us to be soulwinners and powerful witnesses for the Lord .The early church witnessed and testified to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus with great power because of the great grace that was upon them all.

SCRIPTURE REFERENCES

********************

Acts 4:33

With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all

Acts 6:8-10

Now Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, performed great wonders and signs among the people.

Opposition arose, however, from members of the Synagogue of the Freedmen (as it was called)—Jews of Cyrene and Alexandria as well as the provinces of Cilicia and Asia—who began to argue with Stephen.

But they could not stand up against the wisdom the Spirit gave him as he spoke.

4. SERVICE

The mercy and grace of God helps us to serve Him effectively and powerfully. The Apostle Paul felt he was not even worthy to be called an Apostle because he persecuted the church of God. But the Grace of God transformed him and enabled him to labour more than anybody else. We need to receive the grace of God to overcome our weaknesses and limitations and serve God effectively. The grace of God enables us to rise and shine for the Lord.Very often we feel inadequate and unworthy to do anything for the Lord. We may lack natural abilities and talents. But the grace of God can enable us to do that which we cannot do in our natural strength. Apostle Paul was an enemy of Christ in his natural state. But the grace of God tranformed him into a mighty apostle. The grace of God can do the same for everyone of us.

I Corinthians 15:9-10 :

" For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. "

5. STRENGTH

The grace of God gives us strength to face any situation in our lives. We are able to rise up and be strong soldiers in the army of Jesus Christ. Without the grace of God we will not be able to fight the Lord’s battles. In these last days when there is so much opposition to the work of God , every child of God should be strong in the grace of God.

SCRIPTURE REFERENCES

2 TIMOTHY 2:1-3

You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.

Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

6. SUFFICIENCY

The Grace of God is sufficient to meet every area of our life. The situations in our lives keep changing. But we can have the assurance that the grace of God will be sufficient for every situation. When we are in the mountain top we will have the grace to be humble. When we are in the valley the grace of God will help us not to be discouraged. Whatever be the situation in our life the grace of God will be sufficient for that situation. The grace of God is sufficient for our life. It helps us to bear difficulties that do not go away. Apostle Paul had a thorn that did not go away but he received grace to bear it. When we face such situations in our life we need the grace of God to bear it.

2 Corinthians 12:7-10

"To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me.

Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me.

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

7. SAFETY

The grace of God is a powerful shield of protection in our lives. There are so many dangers, snares, enemies that we face in our lives spiritually ,

physically , emotionally etc . To counter these increasing threats to our lives we must keep growing in grace which is a covering over our lives. We cannot

foresee every danger that can affect us. We should receive the Lord ’s mercy and grace in abundance in our life in order to survive the dangers we face from satan , evil people , etc in this world. It is because of His mercies that we are not consumed . His favour surrounds us as a shield and protects us from

the numerous attacks of the enemy .

PSALMS 5:12

For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

LAMENTATIONS 3:22

Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.

8. SUCCOUR

The Lord wants us to come before the throne of grace to receive the mercy that we need for our lives and to obtain the grace that we need to help others in

the time of need. The Lord wants us to come boldly without any hesitation because He is seated on the throne of grace to shower His grace upon our lives. In our desperate situation the Lord is our succour. When we have a compassionate heart and help others in their time of need , the Lord will bless us and deliver us in our time of trouble.

HEBREWS 4:16

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

PSALM 41:1-3

Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the LORD delivers him in times of trouble.

The LORD will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes.

The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness.

9. SICKNESS

The mercy of God helps us to receive healing for our sicknesses and diseases. We need to cry out for the mercy of God in times of illness and receive His healing .

Matthew 9:27-30

As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”

When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they replied.

Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”;

and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.”

Matthew 17:14-18

When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him.

“Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water.

I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.”

“You unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.”

Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment.

10. SOLACE

The mercy of God helps us to avoid experiencing sorrow upon sorrow in our lives. It protects us from unbearable pain and suffering in our lives. The Lord had mercy upon Apostle Paul and did not allow him to experience sorrow upon sorrow. We should cry out for God’s mercy in order to avoid experiencing overwhelming sorrow in our lives.

Philippians 2:27

" Indeed he was ill, and almost died. But God had mercy on him, and not on him only but also on me, to spare me sorrow upon sorrow. "

1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

11. SUPPLY

The grace of God supplies the needs we face in our lives. The grace of God made the Lord Jesus shed his prosperity and embrace poverty that we might enjoy

the supply of our needs. As the needs in our lives increase we must also keep growing in grace which will ensure the supply of all our needs.

2 CORINTHIANS 8:9

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become

rich.

LUKE 22:35

Then Jesus asked them, "When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?" "Nothing," they answered.

PHILIPPIANS 4:19

And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

12. SYMPATHY

The grace and mercy of God grants us favour in the eyes of people and authorities. Jesus increased in favour with God and man. In the Old Testament the Lord granted Joseph favour in the eyes of the prsioner-keeper. He granted Daniel favour and tender love with the authority in charge of him. We need to receive this grace and favour of God in our lives which would cause us to receive favour and sympathy in the eyes of people who wield influence and authority over us.

Luke 2:52

And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.

Genesis 39:21

" But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. "

Daniel 1:9

Now God had caused the official to show favor and compassion to Daniel,

13.SHAME

The mercy and grace of God removes the shame and reproach from our lives . The Lord showed mercy on Elisabeth and removed her reproach by granting her a child . We should cry out to God for His mercy to remove the shame and humiliation we face in our lives .

SCRIPTURE REFERENCES

********************

Luke 1: 24-25 , 57-58

After this his wife Elizabeth became pregnant and for five months remained in seclusion.

“The Lord has done this for me,” she said. “In these days he has shown his favor and taken away my disgrace among the people.”

When it was time for Elizabeth to have her baby, she gave birth to a son.

Her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had shown her great mercy, and they shared her joy.

14. SANCTIFICATION

The grace of God helps us to live a life of purity that is acceptable to God. It fills our life with the righteousness of God. This grace can touch every area of our life. We must receive the grace of God that will enable us to overcome temptations and live a holy life. Therefore we need to be strong in the grace of God to live a life of purity and righteousness.

Hebrews 12:28-29

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.

For our God is a consuming fire.

Romans 5:21

so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:12-14

Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires.

Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.

For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

Hebrews 12:15-17

See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.

See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son.

Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. Even though he sought the blessing with tears, he could not change what he had done.

Hebrews 10:26-31

If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left,

but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.

Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.

How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?

For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” and again, “The Lord will judge his people.”

It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

15. STABILITY

Growing in grace produces a stability in our walk with God. The Lord does not want us to be carried away by strange doctrines. Our hearts must be established

by grace. The situations around us keep changing all the time. We are often caught in the midst of a storm of changes in values and principles and we are

tempted to compromise and forsake our commitment .In these situations we need to be strong in grace to be stable in our spiritual life.

SCRIPTURE REFERENCES

HEBREWS 13:9

Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. It is good for our hearts to be strengthened by grace, not by ceremonial foods, which are of no

value to those who eat them.

1 TIMOTHY 4:1-2

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.

2 TIMOTHY 4:2-4

Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.

For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of

teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

1 JOHN 2:26-27

I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray.

As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things

and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.

JOHN 16:13

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell

you what is yet to come.

16. SUCCESS

The grace of God helps us to progress in our life. God gives more and more grace to us to help us grow in our usefulness and spirituality. God gives more and more grace to us to help us grow in our usefulness and spirituality. God wants us to keep growing in the gifts and talents He has given to us. With more grace we must do more for God. With new grace we must do new things for God. The grace of God helps us live a life of ever increasing usefulness and blessing. We are unworthy in our own strength and abilities . But when we receive the grace of God we are enabled to be serve Him .

2 PETER 3:18

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

17. SOWING

The grace of God enables us to be sowers and givers in the Kingdom of God . The Lord grants us the grace of giving so that we can become generous people who are a great blessing to others. He gives us the seeds and the resources to invest in the kingdom of God.

SCRIPTURE REFERENCES

********************

2 Corinthians 8:6-7

So we urged Titus, just as he had earlier made a beginning, to bring also to completion this act of grace on your part.

But since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you—see that you also excel in this grace of giving.

2 Corinthians 9:6-11

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

As it is written: “They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.”

Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.

You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

18. SELF-ABASEMENT

We must approach the Lord in humility acknowledging the true condition of our hearts and pleading for His grace and mercy. The Lord opposes those who are proud and haughty but gives grace to the humble. We must acknowledge our need for the grace of God . We must not think that we are self sufficient in our own strength and ability and that we do not need the grace of God. The Lord gives more and more grace to the humble.

SCRIPTURE REFERENCES

********************

JAMES 4:6

But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."

LUKE 18:9-14

To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everybody else, Jesus told this parable:

"Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.

The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: ’God, I thank you that I am not like other men—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector.

I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’

"But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ’God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’

"I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself

will be exalted."

19. SINGING

The Lord wants us to sing praises unto Him. As we sing and offer thanksgiving unto the Lord with a grateful heart, the Lord will increase His grace in our lives and bless us abundantly. Our hearts must be filled with the word of Christ so that our songs are filled with spiritual truths that will teach and admonish us as we sing unto the Lord. We must sing with grace and mean every word that we sing unto the Lord with all our hearts .

COLOSSIANS 3:16

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in

your hearts to the Lord.

EPHESIANS 5:19-20

Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord,

always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 CORINTHIANS 14:15

So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my mind; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my mind.

2 CORINTHIANS 4:15

All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.

20. SPEECH

We must receive grace from God to speak gracious words which would bring healing and happiness .Gracious words bring joy and healing. Words of hope and

encouragement are a great blessing to others. Cruel words can wound others deeply and we must avoid speaking such destructive words. We have to give an

account before God on the Day of Judgement for every careless word that we speak. Therefore we must be very careful over every word that we speak . We must

have a good heart and speak good words out of the overflow of the good treasure of our heart. We should not speak evil words and words that slander others .

Our words must be a blessing to others . Our words must be truthful and humble . Our words must be free from bitterness and anger.

COLOSSIANS 4:6

Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

LUKE 4:22

All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips. "Isn’t this Joseph’s son?" they asked.

ISAIAH 50:4

The Sovereign LORD has given me an instructed tongue,to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like

one being taught.

PROVERBS 18:21

" The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit."

MATTHEW 12:34-37

" You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.

The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.

But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken.

For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."

PROVERBS 6:2

" You are snared by the words of your mouth; You are taken by the words of your mouth."

JAMES 3:1-10

" Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.

We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole body in check.

When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal.

Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to

go.

Likewise the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark.

The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is

itself set on fire by hell.

All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and creatures of the sea are being tamed and have been tamed by man,

but no man can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.

With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God’s likeness.

Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be."

EPHESIANS 4:29

" Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit

those who listen. "

TITUS 3:2

" to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men. "

JAMES 4:11

" Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you

are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it."

EPHESIANS 4: 25,31

" Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body."

" Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. "

ROMANS 10:17

" So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

ROMANS 10:6-10

" But the righteousness that is by faith says: "Do not say in your heart, ’Who will ascend into heaven?’" (that is,to bring Christ down)

"or ’Who will descend into the deep?’" (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).

But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:

That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

ISAIAH 55:10-11

" As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed

for the sower and bread for the eater,

so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. "

MATTHEW 24:35

" Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. "

PROVERBS 16:24

" Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones."

PROVERBS 25:11

" A word aptly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver. "

PROVERBS 15:23

" A man finds joy in giving an apt reply— and how good is a timely word! "

PROVERBS 12:25

" An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up. "

PROVERBS 15:4

" The tongue that brings healing is a tree of life, but a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit. "

PROVERBS 15:30

" A cheerful look brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones. "

PROVERBS 25:25

" Like cold water to a weary soul is good news from a distant land. "

PROVERBS 12:18

" Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. "

21. SECOND COMING

The grace of God is showered upon us to prepare us to meet the Lord at His Second Coming . We do not receive the grace of God just for our time on earth . We receive the grace of God to prepare us for eternity. The Lord has incomparable riches of grace awaiting us in eternity. We should be careful that we do not miss the great blessings awaiting us in eternity.

1 Peter 1:13-19

Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.

As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.

But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do;

for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”

Since you call on a Father who judges each person’s work impartially, live out your time as foreigners here in reverent fear.

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors,

but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

Ephesians 2:6-7

And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,

in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
