Every day, American consumers receive offers that just sound too good to be true. In the past, these offers came through the mail or by telephone. Now the con artists and swindlers have found a new avenue to pitch their frauds — the Internet. The on-line scams know no national borders or boundaries; they respect no investigative jurisdictions. But, as with all scammers, they have one objective — to separate you from your money!

How are you today? (email 8/31/10)

My name is patricia ukpali I am 20 years of age, the only daughter of late Mr and Mrs francis ukpali, from Coted'Ivoire.

My father before his death was a prosperous Cocoa and Gold merchant in my country before his untimely death, after his business trip to Senegal, to negotiate on a Cocoa and Gold business he wanted to invest in Senegal.

My mother died when I was little ,and since then my father took me so special. Before his death on 13th April 2007 he told me that he has the sum of four million, five hundred thousand United State Dollars.(USD 4.5) deposited in a trunk box in security company in Abidjan Cote d'Ivoire, that he wanted to use this fund to invest his cocoa business in Senegal.

Before the death of my father he instructed me that i should look for a foreighn partner of my choice whom i could trust for security reason. And i have choosed you and also i pray that God should guild us through this transaction.

I am just 20 years old and a university undergraduate and really don't know what to do.Now I want you to help me claim this box to your country as my late fathers foreighn parthner in overseas for an investment in your country because I have suffered a lot of set backs as a result of political crisis here in Ivory coast. The death of my father actually brought sorrow to my life.

I am in a sincere desire of your humble assistance this regards.Your suggestions and ideas will be highly regarded.

Now permit me to ask these few questions:

1. Can you honestly help me.

2. Can I completely trust you?

3. I have already maped out 15% for you and 5% for any espences that acguired in this transaction.

Please,Consider this and get back to me as soon as posible

Thank you so much and God bless you.

My sincere regards,

Miss patricia ukpali

- Urban Legends, Snopes & Scambusters websites have dozens

- Ps 126 – Israel out of captivity

- Lk 24:41 – Disciples seeing Christ

- "And while they yet believed not for joy..."

Sometimes God presents things to us and we think that they are "too good to be true". The disciples thought that Jesus being alive was too good to be true and had trouble believing. Is this a fraud a scam it seems to be too good to be true, but are anyway.

You're just too good to be true.

Can't take my eyes off you.

You'd be like Heaven to touch.

I wanna hold you so much.

At long last love has arrived

And I thank God I'm alive.

You're just too good to be true.

Can't take my eyes off you.

❶. Redemption Is Too Good To Be True, But It Is True!

- Jesus shed His blood on Calvary to redeem us!

1 Peter 1:18-19

18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Romans 5:6, 8

6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

❷. Regeneration Is Too Good To Be True, But It Is True!

- Anyone who truly trusts Christ as Savior is "born again".

Romans 12:2

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

1 Peter 1:3, 23

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

❸. Responsibility Is Too Good To Be True, But It Is True!

- God has chosen to use us in his ministry.

- Some will be missionaries, evangelists, pastors and teachers.

- All of us have a Spiritual gift to use, and all of us can be witnesses for Christ.

1 Peter 4:1

Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

❹. Rewards Are Too Good To Be True, But They Are True!

- Jesus will reward his faithful servants.

1 Corinthians 9:24-25

24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

❺. Resurrection Is Too Good To Be True, But It Is True!

- We will be raised from the dead

1 Corinthians 15:51-58

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

These all sound unbelievable

What shall we say about these things

1. Redemption

2. Regeneration

3. Responsibility

4. Rewards

5. Resurrection

Romans 8:31-32KJVWhat shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
