Summary: I'm bringing in the dynamics of the church of God and hopefully showing how that is the people of God, and that the things of which we need are available if we will just receive them.

BUILDING THE HOUSE WITH THE RIGHT MATERIALS

1 Cor 12:7-13

7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. KJV

Kingdom---A state or government having a king or queen at its head.

The domain in which the spiritual sovereignty of God extends whether in heaven or on earth.

So it can be said this way…King’s domain.

Everywhere Jesus went He was preaching the kingdom of God healing the sick, raising the dead, casting out devils, and overall wrecking havoc on the devils kingdom. Matt 4:23

23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom , and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. KJV

He prayed…thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven… Matt 6:10.

He was bringing God’s kingdom to earth.

That’s what we need to be doing!

God’s purpose is to establish His kingdom on earth…right now!

Matt 10:7

7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. KJV

We want to be and practice the doctrine AND methods!

They were essentially Jesus continuing what Jesus started.

THE MIRACULAS MUST reappear, rebound, and return TO THE CHURCH!

We are going to pray and fast until the gifts permeate and pervade the church, and our ministries in Apostolic proportion! Gift of healing, gift of miracles, gift of faith,(see text).

But hold on…according to Luke 17:21

21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. KJV

So God has to engineer and fabricate us, He has to teach us how to build up our most holy faith to build & establish his kingdom.

Matt 6:33

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. KJV

He wants us to be built up as the house of God and to establish the kingdom of God on this earth as much as is possible!

But He isn’t going to allow us to just build His kingdom as we see best, He takes the guess work out of it!

Eph 2:19-22

19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. KJV

And He has given us instructions and a material list!

*** The point of the whole thing is to develop, to build His kingdom, and according to Lk.17:21 the kingdom is within us. Sooo.. He has to develop us to build His kingdom.

***BUILD---THREE DEMENSIONS OF BUILDING

1. (v.) To increase in size, quantity, or scope:

• augment • accumulate• rack up (colloquial) • enlarge • expand

• heighten • explode • gain • grow • inflate • mount • multiply • proliferate • rise • snowball • swell

• decrease (antonym) • reduce (antonym) • diminish (antonym) • lessen (antonym)

2. (v.) To increase in magnitude or intensity:

• intensify • develop • heighten • magnify • strengthen

• reduce (antonym) • diminish (antonym) • lessen (antonym)

3. (v.) To create by shaping, adapting, or putting elements together:

• construct • fabricate • fashion • forge • model • manufacture • mold

*** But see He is not just going to let us go build with anything we want, He is sovereign, and in control, so He gives us specific instructions and a materials list.

*** It is found in…..

1 Chr 22:5-19

5 And David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be builded for the LORD must be exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore now make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.

6 Then he called for Solomon his son, and charged him to build an house for the LORD God of Israel.

7 And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God:

8 But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight.

9 Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days.

10 He shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever.

11 Now, my son, the LORD be with thee; and prosper thou, and build the house of the LORD thy God, as he hath said of thee.

12 Only the LORD give thee wisdom and understanding, and give thee charge concerning Israel, that thou mayest keep the law of the LORD thy God.

13 Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments which the LORD charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.

14 Now, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for the house of the LORD an hundred thousand talents of gold, and a thousand thousand talents of silver; and of brass and iron without weight; for it is in abundance: timber also and stone have I prepared; and thou mayest add thereto.

15 Moreover there are workmen with thee in abundance, hewers and workers of stone and timber, and all manner of cunning men for every manner of work.

16 Of the gold, the silver, and the brass, and the iron, there is no number. Arise therefore, and be doing, and the LORD be with thee.

17 David also commanded all the princes of Israel to help Solomon his son, saying,

18 Is not the LORD your God with you? and hath he not given you rest on every side? for he hath given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD, and before his people.

19 Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God; arise therefore, and build ye the sanctuary of the LORD God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of the LORD.

(KJV)

The setting of scripture is Solomon being established and inaugurated (set up) to construct the house of God.

David is bequeathing and endowing (handing down) to us that anointing and responsibility!

This is addressing the RELEVENT generation…even the young generation!

BTW we are all 1st born sons; God don’t have any 2nd born son’s, grandsons, or step sons!!

Rom 8:14-17

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

(KJV)

Rom 8:28-31

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

(KJV)

*** Gold-Divinity; Revelation of God in Christ…

GOLD

5. Figurative: Finer than gold, which, physically speaking, is considered non-perishable, typifies incorruptibility (Acts 17:29; 1 Peter 1:7,18; 3:3; James 5:3).

Gold was the most valuable of metals. It stood for anything of great value (Prov 3:14; 8:10,19; 16:16,22; 25:12), hence was most worthy for use in worshipping Yahweh (Ex 25 ff; Rev 1:12-13,20, etc.),

A crown of gold was synonymous with royal honor (Est 2:17; 6:8; Job 19:9; Rev 4:4; 14:14).

Comparing men to gold suggested their nobility (Lam 4:1-2; 2 Tim 2:20).

GOLD

Gold denotes spiritually the redeeming merits of Christ (Rev 3:18: "I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayst be rich"),

*** Silver-Redemption; Plan of Salvation…

SILVER

Figurative: The trying of men's hearts was compared to the refining of silver (Ps 66:10; Isa 48:10). God's words were as pure as silver refined seven times (Ps 12:6). The gaining of understanding is better than the gaining of silver (Prov 3:14; compare 8:19; 10:20; 16:16; 22:1; 25:11). Silver become dross denoted deterioration (Isa 1:22; Jer 6:30).

In the New Testament, reference should be made especially to Acts 19:24; James 5:3; Rev 18:12.

SILVER

They made Shrines, Idols, Dross from Reprobate; all of which refers to salvation of the diluting of salvation.

*** Brass-Judgment; Holiness & Separation…

BRASS

Figurative: "Brass," naturally, is used in Scripture as the symbol of what is firm, strong, lasting; hence, "gates of brass" (Ps 107:16), "hoofs of brass" (Mic 4:13), "walls of brass" (Jeremiah is made as a "brazen wall," Jer 1:18; 15:20), "mountains of brass" (Dan 2:35, the Macedonian empire; the arms of ancient times were mostly of bronze). It becomes a symbol, therefore, of hardness, obstinacy, insensibility, in sin, as "brow of brass" (Isa 48:4);

Deut 28:23

23 And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass , and the earth that is under thee shall be iron. KJV

*** Iron-Strength; Praise, worship, and prayer…

IRON

Figurative: Deut 28:48), strength ("bars of iron," Job 40:18), severity ("rod of iron," Ps 2:9), captivity (Ps 107:10), obstinacy ("iron sinew," Isa 48:4), fortitude ("iron pillar," Jer 1:18), destructive power ("iron teeth," Dan 7:7); the Revised Version (British and American) "brass"); great obstacles ("walls of iron," 2 Macc 11:9).

(from International Standard Bible Encyclopaedia, Electronic Database Copyright

IRON

Figurative. Iron is used in Scripture as the symbol of strength (Dan 2:33; etc.), of stubbornness (Isa 48:4); of severe affliction (Deut 4:20; Ps 107:10, marg.); of a hard, barren soil (Deut 28:23); of harsh exercise of power (Ps 2:9; Rev 2:27)

*** Wood-Humanity; our message and evangelism.

Wood did not already exist, trees had to be cut and it had to be fashioned out of trees. This speaks to us of our Lord’s command to “go ye” our message doesn’t exist in people’s lives unless we first go get it and carry it to them.

Wood could be carved and fashioned into something of use.

Wood is used to build things tools, vessels, bridges.

NOTICE!!! The wood of the temple was always covered with gold or silver!

*** Representative of humanity needing to be baptized with the spirit of God.

*** That’s why Job said “when He hath tried me I shall come forth as pure gold.”

1 Cor. 3:1-17

1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

(KJV)
