JESUS CARES

This is a powerful and true statement. Knowing that all that is going on around us, in our home, in our churches, in our community, city, state and all over the world, Jesus still cares. That brings me great consolation, when family don’t care, Jesus cares.

Is there anybody in here today, knows that Jesus still cares? When you look at what all you been through, you look at where you been, you look at how people had treated you and how people is treating you right now. When you think about the mean and evil words people has said to you, all you got to do is remember, THE LORD CARES.

There are three moments of resurrection that Jesus is apart of. There were this dead girl, daughter of Jarius, Jesus tell people to get out of the room and He takes soldiers in the room with Him, and He speaks a word to this young girl and tell this young to get up and the tells us that this young girl gets up the slumber of death.

Listen, isn’t it strange how Jesus have to move some people out the way because they are blessing blockers? Some people need to get out of the room so the Lord can have His way.

Then there were a story of a man that was in a tomb for four days. Jesus get to the tomb, the sisters Mary and Martha said to Jesus, if you had of been here, our brother wouldn’t have died. But anytime Jesus shows up, He always on time. They was worry, because they said if Jesus would have been here four days ago, our brother would’ve still been alive.

I know sometime it seems as if the Lord has forgotten about us, sometimes it seem as if Jesus has left us out to dry. But the bible tells us, that He will never leave us or forsake us. He may not show up when we want Him to, but how many of you know that when He do show up, He’s on time.

And that is what happen in this text, in verse 11, the bible says, And it came to pass the day after. He went to a city called Nain. You see Jesus just had left the city of Capernaum, healing the centurion servant. And my brothers and sisters, I like this Jesus, because He give us a pattern of life.

He is always working, always busy, and I believe we have to many lazy people in the body of Christ. This is not a laid back journey, this is not a relaxing journey, but this is a journey where you are a worker. Why? Because we a slaves to the Lord

We are servants, we are slaves for the Lord. And we must obey the master. He did not call us to sit on the pews, He did not call us just to show up on Sunday, He did not call us show up every now and then. But He call us to be workers in the body of Christ.

And what I like about the Lord. No matter where we maybe, He don’t mind meeting us. What ever location you in, the Lord will show up…………..

When I found myself in a place where people had forgotten about me. You do know that people will forget about you? But we serve a God that will never forget about you.

In our text, Jesus goes to this city call Nain. And the bibles says that his disciples was going along with Him. His disciples, those who was connected in what He was doing, they was serious about the work of the Lord, they was concern about what they was doing.

But then the bible says there is another crowd, the bible says that his disciple went with Him and much people. Let me stop here to tell you. There will always be some spectators around. They there just to watch and see what’s going on. In the church we have those who want to do something and we have those who want to sit down and watch what going on.

This is a journey that we must do something, we don’t have time looking what people is wearing. But we must get up and do something. WE MUST BE ABOUT OUR FATHER BUSINESS EVERY DAY. But some people come to church just to see who going to do this, who going to do that. When you come in here, don’t let the Deacons and Choir sing by themselves, join in and help them sing.

We ought to pray together, sing together, this is a corporate worship. In my imagination mind. I can hear the people saying where are he going next and what is he going to do next. I discover that when you working you don’t have time to watch other people.

Let me move on, in verse 12, the bible say that a dead man was carry out and he was the only son of his mother. And then it say’s she was a widow. The bible doesn’t say how long she been a widow but her husband at some point died. And now she has lost her only son to death.

You need to understand my brothers and sisters, is that the only way this woman life can be sustain is that Jesus save her son. This woman was dealing with some emotion problems. I can hear her saying, I lost my only son and what is I’m going to do.

In verse 13, the bible says, the Lord saw her. The did not only see what was going on, on the outside of her, but he see what’s happening on the inside of her.

There are some people who look like everything is ok in their life, but you don’t know what going on with them on the inside. And I’m so glad that we have a Savior who don’t look at the outside but he look at what going on the inside of you.

Now listen at what Jesus tells this woman, Weep Not, Weep Not. Her husband is dead. They are on their way to the grave yard with her only son. And Jesus comes up and say, Don’t Weep. What Jesus is telling this woman there is no need for you to cry. Sometime we have to stop worrying and crying over our situations and just let Jesus work it out. While we sitting around trying to figure it out, God has already work it out.

Now in verse 14, it says Jesus touched the bier, or may I say in today’s term casket. He touch the casket, not the boy, the casket. Now lets look at what happen when he touch the casket. The bible says, they that bare him stool still. THEY CAME TO A HALT. Now I want you to picture this, they are moving forward, but Jesus stop them in their tracks.

You see when Jesus reach out, he stop our pain from going any further. And I don’t if you ever felt the touch of Jesus. He touch me! He had something happen in my life, I had something that kept coming up in my life, it seemed like my trouble’s kept moving forward. But when Jesus saw my troubles, HE REACH OUT AND TOUCH. Is there anybody here know that He reach out. Is there anybody here know that he stop some stuff from going forward?………….

Listen, and He said young man, I say unto you, Arise. Not only did he stop it, but he spoke to it. I stop by to tell you today, what ever trouble you going through, THE LORD WILL SPEAK TO IT!! (Talk about the Jesus being asleep in the storm)

The bible says in verse 15, that the dead man sat up and begin to speak and he gave him back to his mother.

And the says that after the dead man begin to speak, there came a fear on them all and they began to glorify the Lord saying that a great prophet is risen among us. Well every time we see the Lord move in somebody life, when the Lord moves in our life, we ought to glorify the Lord.

But when the Lord brings me out of a crisis situation, I discover I ought to make some noise. And these people saw how bad the situation was, and the bible said, they started glorifying God and praising him of what he had done.

I stop by to tell you, we still have a Savior who is making house call. And anytime the Lord change a situation, the word ought to spread all over the city.

I’m reminded of the woman at the well, when Jesus turn her situation around. The Bible says, she ran back to tell all of her friends. Come and see a man who told me all about myself. Well, we need to bring people back to the well, to tell them about a man who cares.

I’m getting ready to leave you now, but I want to tell you before I go. I’m so glad we have a Savior who cares for us. It does not matter how bad your situation is, you can rest assure that Jesus cares.

IS THERE ANYBODY IN HERE TODAY, KNOWS THAT JESUS CARE. HE CARES FOR YOU. I KNOW SOMETIME IT SO HARD ON THIS JOURNEY, BUT YOU GOT TO KNOW, THAT JESUS CARE FOR YOU.

WHEN YOU BEEN CRYING ALL NIGHT LONG, JESUS WILL, WIPE THE TEARS FROM YOUR EYES. AND I THANK GOD TODAY, HE CARES FOR ME.

THERE WAS TIME WHEN I DIDN’T CARE FOR MYSELF, BUT I THANK GOD TODAY, THAT HE KEPT ME, WHEN I COULDN’T KEEP MYSELF. THAT LET ME KNOW HE CARES FOR ME. YES MY LORD.

SOMEBODY HERE CAN TESTIFY, THAT YOU BEEN THROUGH THE STORM AND YOU BEEN THROUGH THE RAIN, YOU HAD HEARTACHES AND SOME PAIN.

BUT I FOUND OUT, THROUGH MY HARD TIMES, I HAD A SAVIOR WHO CARES FOR ME. ANYBODY HERE TODAY, KNOWS YOU HAVE A SAVIOR WHO CARE FOR YOU.

SOMEBODY HERE WALK THE FLOOR ALL NIGHT, AND YOU FOUND JESUS WAS THERE WITH YOU. HE’LL GET UP IN THE MIDNIGHT HOUR AND HE WILL WALK WITH YOU.

I KNOW THERE SOMEBODY HERE WHO FEEL LIKE YOU DON’T HAVE NOBODY TO TURN TO. YOU DON’T HAVE NOBODY WHO YOU CAN CALL AND TELL YOUR TROUBLES TO. BUT I’M GLAD TODAY, THAT MY SAVIOR IS STILL IN THE SAVING BUSINESS.

MY SAVIOR, HE STILL IN THE CARING BUSINESS, AND HE CARE FOR YOU. ANYBODY KNOWS TODAY, THAT GOD IS STILL ABLE. HE ABLE TO HOLD YOUR HANDS. GOD IS STILL WIPING TEARS.

I WANT TO ENCOURAGE YOU TODAY, BEFORE YOU THROW IN THE TOWEL, SAY FATHER I STRECTCH MY HAND TO THEE……………

ANYBODY HERE KNOW THAT GOD WILL HOLD YOU, GOD WILL GUIDE YOU.

THE REASON I KNOW JESUS CARE. OVER THOUSANDS AGO, LAID HE ON A CROSS, PUT NAILS IN HANDS……….
