Before I start preaching I need to prophesy to somebody and I need to tell you that tonight is your night for a turn around.
And I decree to you that in the very same place that the enemy said it was gonna end, you’re going to step into a new beginning and the greatest blessing of your life.
Begin Reading 2 Chron 20:1
The children of Moab and the children of Ammon and with them other beside The ammonites came against Jehoshaphat to battle.
We could assign names to these enemies that apply to us personally.
We could say: Financial Trouble, or Health problems, and Family problems and attacks on our character, and attacks on The ministry,.. And here’s The worst part of it all.
(They all came at once)
Have you ever Felt Like ’you were in The middle of a war zone and The enemy Was surrounding you?
you Turned to the east and There was the enemy, you turned To the west and there Was a different enemy
you turned to the North and There Was no relief
you Turned To the south and it looked hopeless.
I know tonight by the Spirit of the Lord: That somebody here tonight is in that very same situation.
You Love God, you’re doing your best to serve God, You’re doing your best to live right
you’re reading your bible, you’re praying, you’re coming to church, You’re paying your tithes, you’re Sowing.
but you’re in the Fight of your life, and You don’t see any sign of it letting up.
You engage one enemy and think maybe your making some progress, Then all of a sudden you look and The enemy has reinforced and Comes On even Stronger.
Then here comes those people who feel Like It’s Their Job and their ministry to tell you how bad it is. and how mean The enemy is
and all They do is magnify what the devil ’s doing
And the bible says.. Jeshosha-phat Feared
Faith comes by hearing, and Fear comes by hearing
The greatest weapon Satan has is Fear (Because Fear will open the door to sickness and disease. depression, oppression. Worry anxiety, stress, confusion).
Fear will steal your Joy. and your peace Fear will bring you into bondage mentally emotionally and spiritually.
Job said: Job 3:25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
Fear is a child of the devil
IJn 4:18 says: Fear hath torment
2 Tim 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of Fear, but of power and of love and of a sound Mind.
I don’t care who you are, or how spiritual you are, or how anointed you are, at some point in your Life you are going To have To Face off with Fear
People are paralyzed by fear, held in bondage and captivity by fear: Even Christians can find themselves a prisoner to fear.
Today fear has many faces: Many today are living in fear of a bad economy, fear of terrorists, fear of losing their income, fear of losing their homes, fear of losing their social security, fear of earthquakes, and Tsunami’s and fear of radiation poisoning.
Then there’s fear of sickness and disease: Some people live all their lives in fear of getting some deadly disease.
Some live in fear of failure, afraid to try anything new because they might fall or fail.
Fear of criticism, fear of persecution.
The only way to move Forward is to Conquer The spirit of Fear.
The First Thing Jehoshaphat did when he was attacked by the spirit of Fear was he turned to the Lord.
2 Chro. 20:3 And Jehoshaphat feared.
He Feared but he made The right Choice, he turned To God.
He set himself to seek the Lord and proclaimed a Fast Throughout all Judah
I want To say something right Here:
God Gave To The church everything We need to overcome in this life and Advance The kingdom Of God - Our weapons are not Weak they are mighty, They are powerful, they are effective.
The Bible says: 2 Cor 10:3-5
The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but they are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
But it does not matter how powerful your Weapons are. If you do not pick them up They are useless as far as you are concerned.
We lose many battles as Christians, not because the enemy is greater, not because he is smarter or has better weapons.
But simply because we do not take Full advantage of what we have been given.
The First Thing Jehosh a-phat does is Launch the Weapons of prayer and fasting
Fasting multiplies The power of prayer (It magnifies the effect of prayer)
If you are serious about needing a breakthrough in your life, then get serious about fasting
Is a 58:6 Tells us The power of The fast:, it will loose The bonds of wickedness, undo The heavy burdens and Let The oppressed go Free, And it will empower you To Break every yoke.
Jehoshaphat did something that a lot of us are too proud to do.
He cried out To the Lord
There is something powerful in a cry:
Notice I’m not referring to prayer here, when you need God immediately, and desperately you don’t have time for those long fancy King James prayers.
That cry is an acknowledgement (we need help)
That cry is a recognition that human effort Is not enough
Jehoshaphat’s cry creates an avenue for the Power of God
Psalms 7: II-13
Because They rebelled against his words, and contemned the counsel of The Most high. Therefore he brought down their heart with Labor, They Fell down and there was none to help
Then they cried unto the lord in their troubles, and he saved them out of their distresses.
He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death and brake their bands in sunder.
Because they cried out for help
One of the greatest enemies to the power of God is PRIDE Pride will kill you
Never be too proud to cry out To God for Help.
What seems to be Weakness is actually the most powerful thing you can do.
somebody lift your hands right Now and cry out To God.
confess your Weakness
Tell Him How much you need his help
In verses 14-15 The spirit of the lord Comes upon Jahaziel and He Begins to prophesy.
“thus saith The Lord:”
I’m going to tell you right Now a thus saith the Lord changes everything
I don’t care what The banker says or the doctor or The lawyer says:
I want to know what is the Lord saying?
It doesn’t matter what people are saying or what The economy is saying or what The government is saying
I want to know: what is The Lord saying?
Is there a word from the Lord?
One word From God changes everything
One word from God will make you unsinkable
One word from God will make you unbeatable
One word from God will make you unshakeable
One word From God will turn Famine into plenty
Sickness onto health
Weakness into strength
Drought into Flood
Nothing into Too much
One word from God will open closed doors
One word from God will set the captives Free
Mt 8:8 a centurion came to Jesus on The behalf of his servant who was sick, Jesus Said: I will come and heal Him,
But The Centurion said: you don’t Have to Come (all I NEED is A word)
Just Send the word (speak the Word only and my servant shall be Healed).
Tell your Neighbor ( All you need is a Word).
Vs. 20 Jehoshaphat says; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established believe his prophets so shall ye prosper,
Thank God for prophets
Thank God for men and Women Who walk close enough To God That They can hear His Voice and speak his Divine will
All Through the bible it was the prophets That brought direction and guidance and correction to the Kings and The children of Israel.
What did the prophet say?
He gave them a ridiculous Instruction (He said Go out against Them and set yourselves, stand still and see The salvation of the lord).
Every natural evidence and impulse was to run away from this great army, and to hide in the rocks and caves, but the instruction of God is: (Meet them head on)
Go out against them.
Jehoshaphat appointed singers to praise the lord and the beauty of His holiness.
When they began to sing and praise the Lord
The Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab and mount Seir which were come out against Judah and they were smitten
Vs 23. They turned on each other)
God confused them, and they began to kill each other
Praise confuses the devil: ( If you want to drive the devil crazy, when he throws something heavy at you, instead of whining and complaining, just go to praising God like you lost your mind).
Praise breaks up the enemies Lines of communication
When the children of God began to praise God: it brought total confusion into the ranks of the enemies, their rank and file, and their strategy and their order was completely destroyed and they started killing each other.
Some of you have never understood the power of praise: Praise is a weapon
Praise will go to the foundation of your problem, Praise will open doors, praise will break yokes, praise will confuse the enemy.
Why is Praise such a powerful weapon?
Because: God inhabits the praises of his people, and when we praise God he moves into our praise, and when God moves into our praise our problems don’t stand a chance.
Vs 25. When they looked they saw Their enemies dead on the ground
(None escaped)
God knows how to take care of your enemies.
I know you’re a wonder, and you might be able to handle one or two or even three of your enemies but you can’t handle everyone of them.
There are some of them that are in hiding, and you don’t know where they are or who they are.
But if you’ll let God fight your battles he’ll take care of everyone of them.
Right there is enough to shout about for the next three days: God is going to take care of my enemies; I don’t have to worry about them.
I don’t have to fight my own battles
I can stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.
I can hold my peace and let the Lord fight my battles
Let me say it like this: Vengeance is mine saith the Lord and I will repay
Let me say it another way: God will get the last word, if you will keep your mouth shut.
Somebody ought to lift your hands and praise God right now, that he is taking care of your enemies and that not one of them will escape.
But it doesn’t end there.
God doesn’t just want to get the enemy off your back, God wants to bless you and he wants to prosper you.
In fact the thing that is highest on your list of priorities of things you need God to do is actually the lowest on his list.
He not only destroyed their enemies, he brought them into overflow.
They found among Them, (among their enemies) abundance both riches and precious Jewels More Than they could carry off.
I want to stop right here and tell you something: God is getting ready to bless you in some unusual ways.
In fact God is going to use your enemies to bless you, some of the mean spiteful, vengeful people that have been trying to destroy you are going to turn around and bless you.
From the same place that the enemy was launching his attacks against you, blessings are going to come to you.
They were three days in the gathering of the spoil.
Each day they gathered the jewels but there was too much to carry, it was a too much blessing, in the place where the enemy planned to destroy them.
And it all happened because they had a word from God.
All you need is A word
I want you to lift your hands and begin to praise him right now (fill this atmosphere with praise) God said he’s taking care of your enemies.
While your praising God your enemies are going into mass confusion
While your praising God your enemies are turning on each other
While your praising God, God is fighting for you
While your praising God you are positioning yourself for prosperity
There’s a break through in your praise
There’s a poverty breaking, hell shaking anointing in your praise
If God be for you who can be against you.
You’ve got a word from God.
All you need is a Word.
