Summary: Job had a lot of faith in God, but is amazing to see that God also had a lot of faith in Job. How about you? Do you have what it takes to suprise the devil? Satan is betting that you don"t and you won't. Let us see if we can show him wrong.

It Is High Time to Suprise the Devil

Jer. 32:27

27 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? (KJV)

(RVG04)

There is absolutely nothing too hard for God. He is only limited by you and your lack of faith and obedience.

Ps. 78:41

41 Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel. (KJV)

(RVG04)

The devil is counting on you to continue to walk in doubt and disobedience. He believes that you will, at best, be a nominal, unfruitful christian.

Job was a man who had a lot of faith in God, but we also know that God had a lot of faith in Job (Job 1:6-12; 2:1-6)

Does God have faith in you?

Luke 18:8

8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? (KJV)

(RVG04)

Moses suprised the devil by turning down the riches of Egypt.

Elijah suprised the devil by challenging 400 false prophets at one time.

Noah suprised the devil by continuing faithful 120 years for a 40 day rain.

Joseph suprised the devil by fleeing the sexual advance of the queen.

I. It is Time for a Roll Change

Jn. 8:44

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (KJV)

(RVG04)

The devil only knows how to deceive and lie. If he were to tell the truth, it would be to slander or hurt someone else.

Satan is the accuser of the brethren (Rev. 12:10). He will work to no end to destroy you. Are you just going to sit there and accept that?

He is like a lion and roars to scare you. As a child of God, we have the authority to roar back.

Prov. 28:1

1 ¶ The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion. (KJV)

(RVG04)

Get up out of your valley and walk in newness of life. Quit believing the devil. He is filling your mind with garbage. He want you to think that a different church, a different lifestyle, different surroundings, etc. will make you happy and fulfilled. He is lying to you.

The playground of the devil is in your mind. If you let him have an inch, he will take a yard. He tells you that he will fulfill your dreams and fantasies, but in reality, your life will become a nightmare. If you let him have the reins, you will be under the power of the old nature (old man) again.

Ps. 118:17

17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. (KJV)

(RVG04)

We are called to holiness.

1 P. 1:15,16

15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; (KJV)

16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. (KJV)

(RVG04)

The Lord that calls us to holiness will also equip us and empower us to live it. The devil tells you that is impossible; so don't even try. Suprise the devil; crucify the flesh; depend on the Holy Ghost; and live a life of holiness to spite the devil.

II. Speak in Faith and Truth to your Situation

Speak His Word and not just yours.

Job 2:9,10

9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. (KJV)

Maldice a Dios, y muérete. (RVG04)

10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips. (KJV)

(RVG04)

Others, even loved ones will discourage you, but you need to lift up your voice in faith and give the glory to God. Do not curse God or get mad at Him. It is the enemy who is at fault. Talk to the devil in a straightforward, personal way. In spanish, we talk to him in the vosotros, or tú form. Let him know that you are the property of God and you body is the temple of God. Tell Satan that you have not lost your senses in spite of all trhat has come against you.

It is time for someone to take control of the situation. If you feel that you cannot pray for yourself, ask another saint to pray for you. Command the devil to take his filthy hands off of your life and emotions.

LOOK what Christ done for you at Calvary.

Hebrews 2:14,15

14 ¶ Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; (KJV)

15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. (KJV)

(RVG04)

The word "destroy" in verse 14, means to be put out of action. Christ already paid the price to put this enemy of ours out of action. If you have been buried with Christ, then Satan can only follow you so far.

The SECRET: Keep the old man buried. Don't let him be resurrected in your life.

III. Put on the Whole Armour of God

Read Eph. 6:10-18

Our tendency is to grab the sword and shield and run off to our battle. The devil will be real suprised if you decide to put on all the armor of God. The devil has no other recourse than to flee the believer who has sincerely applied all the armor to his spiritual person.

IV. Recognize his Devices

2a. Co. 2:11

11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. (KJV)

(RVG04)

Sometimes he comes at you like a roaring lion----1 Peter 5:8

At other times he appears as an angel of light.

2a. Co. 11:14-15

14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. (KJV)

(RVG04)

15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (KJV)

(RVG04)

If you are discerning and you recognize him, then you are better set to suprise him as well.

V. Give No Place to the Devil----Eph. 4:27

Avoid even the very appearance of evil.

Doubt, apathy, complacency, greed, selfishness, and such-like are breeding grounds for the devil to raise an unsightly crop. He is counting on you to give him some ground. You can suprise him and let him know that you are not giving him anything except a strong rebuke in the name of the Lord.

Eph. 2:2

2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: (KJV)

VI. Resist the Devil

James 4:7

7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (KJV)

7 Someteos, pues, a Dios. Resistid al diablo, y huirá de vosotros. (RVG04)

Don't get it backwards. Submit to God. Resist the devil.

Suprise your enemy.

CONCLUSION

You cannot flirt with the devil and be an overcomer.

Pharoah was willing to let Moses sacrifice to his God, if he would only stay in Egypt.

YOU HAVE TO COME OUT OF THE WORLD TO REALLY WORSHIP THE LORD.

NOW, ARE YOU READY TO SUPRISE THE DEVIL.
